I just finished episode 12 and I just could not stop myself from writing a review.
Lets just talk about the character designs and the art style.
I try to never judge an anime or manga by its art style but, I gotta say that one of the things that attracted me to watching this series was the unique art style. The eyes, they are just one of the best things about this anime’s art style. It’s very original and soooo pretty. All the characters were designed so well, it suited perfect with the character’s personality.

"Hotarubi no Mori e" or "The Light of a Firefly Forest" was based on my own opinion one of the best anime movies I've ever seen.
I think the way they told the story was very unique, we were first in the present time but then they showed us the story that happened in the past ( I know a lot of movies are like this but I think they just did it really well and I myself couldn't think of any other/better way to have told the story). They also showed us more than they talked, do u know what I mean ? Like they showed us ...

Well, I think it was a "okay" movie.
It really has a good story very original, the art is different than the other anime's and the music really suits it. But the movie was very long as you can tell, I am not saying that I dislike long movies but this was a long boring movie, I wanted to drop it like after one hour. Because there were not many action scenes. And like you could (at least I) already guess what was going to happen. I feel like they show us more than they talk, and that is one of the reasons why ... |
