As you can see, I've been reading Digimon V-Tamers after Sorcerer Hunters.

Sorcerer Hunters is this awesome mahou shounen manga recommended to me by a sci-fi nerd with an Asian husband slightly older than us.

As much as I like Silent Möbius, it's very difficult to recommend this manga because of the last several dozen chapters still being Japanese only. Its story sure beats those of formulaic battle shounen and romantic comedy though.

Dragon Ball and Girls Bravo started some trends of characters, tropes, etc that I don't really care for.

Wishful thinking, but I would like to see a new Hyper Police adaptation as long as Kotono Mitsuishi and Yuko Miyamura reprise their roles. As long as the new adaptation is done by a whole other studio than Pierrot which are too busy making lame Boruto fillers.

In other words, getting the gist of battle shounen manga is easy. I got the gist of lame, pubescent garbage like Demon Slayer so easily one time that I dropped it.

Hello again Samus! I see that you are watching some Gundam from last decade.

I grew up with The 08th MS Team and G Gundam. I re-watched Wing, Endless Waltz and SEED fairly recently.

My 37 year-old, tomboyish friend is a huge fan of Gundam. Yes! the franchise is popular among tomboys and nerds.

Unicorn is something that I watched when I was about 25 years old. At around that same time, I re-watched Kikaider.

Anyway, I'll talk to you again later and we are about the same age. Born in the same snake year.

Depending on the difficulty you chose, you should be able to catch up in time.

I didn't know there was a Blu-ray for it. Did buy the book and currently reading it and enjoying it very much, also looking forward to the next season! Hopefully it'll be as good as the 1st.

As for video games, I completed ZOE HD, my favorite mecha franchise. Armored Core is neat also.

Anyway, with Monster Rancher 2 out of the way, I'll be moving on to another anime. Like what? Well, Dinozone actually then some underrated gems.

Hi Samus! So anyway, I have beaten Zoids Assault (check and mate!) very recently and the story makes up for its low replay value. Took me about 35 hours to beat the most difficult tactical RPG ever.

Too bad the awesome Charged Particle Beam is for the Chaotic Century timeline only. Only realistic non-beam weapons can be used in Zoids Assault.

Other than that, I haven't watched anything Gundam for a year now. My Libra friend will probably be very excited to see the new Gundam SEED movie.

Me on the other hand, am looking forward to watching the new Fafner and future Macross anime (will be perfectly translated in German for sure).

Oh yeah! You probably heard news by now about Harmony Gold and Big West working together to bring new Macross anime across the globe.

Yeah, Stephen King's books are definitely of the "love it or hate it" kind of type. There are some of these I liked (Christine, Green Mile, The Shining), but the majority was just bizarre to me to the point of me respecting him as an author, but not reading anything by him anymore. I honestly had more fun reading Anne Rice's Interview With A Vampire and its 9 sequels, despite the vampires being rather overused since who knows when. Actually, I never even realized how most of King's characters were so unlikeable and hard to remember until you brought that one up. H.P. Lovecraft was horrible at writing dialogues, but even his characters were more memorable to me. Me being his fan aside. An interesting thing is that I used to think that Jane Austen used to be a women-only writer of romances, but good thing that I listened to my British Literature professor, she's one of the better writers I've stumbled upon lately. Such a pleasant, lighthearted way of describing the Victorian reality.

Well, for now she's only appeared in one Street Fighter entry on the PSP console and that's it. People simply hated how a young girl like her was basically a goddess of the SF universe, labeled her as a shoddy Mary Sue and trash talked her into obscurity. Which is too bad, because I really like her design too.

I apologize for not replying back right away, I at times take breaks from MAL from time to time. To answer your question, with the mixed opinions about Crystal and considering how faithful it is to the manga, I'd rather read the manga instead.

Naja, mal schauen ob ich die Tage Lust drauf hab. Alles gesehene und gelesene könnte ich aber nicht eintragen. Weil digitale Manga behalte ich nicht und bei Anime nur wenn sie mir gefallen haben.

RPG-Maker Spiele sind halt perfekt für jemanden dessen PC nichts aktuelles spielen kann :D Deswegen habe ich mich vor Jahren noch ne Menge mit der Szene beschäftigt. Heutzutage nur ab und zu mal. Gibt auf jeden Fall einige Perlen für, auch außerhalb des RPG-Genres. Aber wenn du eh erstmal an deinem Backlog arbeiten willst^^ Damit Spiele zu machen ist theoretisch auch sehr simpel weil man alles nur zusammenklickt. Deswegen gibt es vermutlich auch soviel kommerziellen Mist auf Steam :x

Und wenn du zumindest die erste Haruhi Staffel mochtest, dann würde ich den Film durchaus empfehlen. Dafür muss man die zweite Staffel auch nicht geschaut haben. Aber ist nicht so als würde ich deinen Anime-Geschmack schon auswendig kennen.
Steins;Gate dürfte dir als Anime aber auch nicht gefallen. Das ist nämlich eine sehr gute Adaption die sich vom Original nur im Detail unterscheidet. Das einzige was wirklich fehlt sind die alternativen Enden. Der Rest ist so gut wie identisch.
Für mich ist es aber der bisher beste Teil der Science Adventure Reihe. Chaos;Head ist als Visual Novel zwar okay, hat mich aber bei Weitem nicht so mitgerissen. Und bei Robotics;Note war der Anime zwar nett, wirkt am Ende aber fürchterlich gerushed und lässt außerdem viele Erklärungen aus der Visual Novel weg.

Kamen no Maid sieht zumindest so aus als ob es witzig sein könnte? Müsste ich mir aber auch nicht unbedingt ansehen. Am liebsten wär mir ja was mal wieder was richtig packendes, wie Death Note. Aber irgendwie gibs davon nicht viel. Hatte vor einiger Zeit zwar mit Hunter x Hunter viel Spaß, aber da bin ich halt auch durch. Und will den Manga dank seiner endlosen Pausen noch nicht weiterlesen. Die sollten mal einen Anime zu 20th Century Boys machen :o Da hab ich in einer Nacht unzählige Kapitel verschlungen^^

Und du könntest Ever17 gebraucht kaufen ... für 100 Dollar oder mehr :x Wäre es meiner Meinung nach aber nicht wert. Dafür ist es einfach zu sehr von 999 und VLR entfernt. Das Ende mag cool sein, aber der Rest...? Kann sein, dass es irgendwann mal auf Steam erscheint. Da werden ja mittlerweile eine Menge Visual Novels veröffentlicht, darunter Root Double, was angeblich auch sehr gut sein soll. Aber von solchen Aussagen lasse ich mich nach meinen letzten Erfahrungen lieber nicht blenden. Rewrite, YU-NO, Ever17 und The Fruit of Grisaia waren meine Zeit echt nicht wert :o

Ich kann dir aber auch nicht sagen, was du als nächstes spielen sollst. Was ist deine Liste auch so kurz? xD Xenoblade Chronicles vielleicht? Oder Birth by Sleep :D Wobei Kingdom Hearts 2 sinnvoller wäre ;P
Ich kann dir aber sagen, was du erst mal nicht spielen solltest! Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner und Ni No Kuni. Ersteres ist zwar besser als der Vorgänger, aber ich fand den Schwierigkeitsgrad irgendwann extrem nervig. Keine Ahnung warum manche unbedingt einen dritten Teil wollen. Ich mag Hideo Kojima zwar, aber manche seiner Spiele sind halt nicht so toll. Darunter leider auch der letzte Teil der Metal Gear Serie -_-
Und Ni No Kuni ist meiner Meinung nach ein eher mittelmäßiges JRPG mit einem schwachsinnigen Monster-Fang-System das sich in keinster Weise beeinflussen lässt. Das wäre so als könnte man sich in Pokemon nicht aussuchen was man bekommt weil es einem per Zufall zugewiesen wird.

Und mir ist der Hype um irgendwas eigentlich egal^^ Ich lasse mich eh nicht so leicht beeindrucken, vermutlich weil ich viel zu viel am Stück konsumiere xD So wird auch Stardew Valley noch ein bisschen in meiner Steam-Bibliothek versauern. Habs zwar gewonnen, aber wenn es eh noch Content-Updates geben soll...

Advent Children hab ich auch gesehen. Und würde es zumindest als den besten Ableger der Compilation bezeichnen. Die Story mag ein bisschen dumm sein, aber es gab zumindest coole Action und einen ebenso coolen Soundtrack! Popcorn-Kino halt^^ Crisis Core hätte zwar Potenzial gehabt, aber das Action-Kampfsystem basiert im Hintergrund trotzdem auf einem rundenbasierten System. Sowas wie in Kingdom Hearts wäre besser gewesen. Ansonsten hat es die typischen Handheld-Schwächen, wie kleine Maps und eine nervige Steuerung.
Und ja, der Kerl den ich meinte ist Genesis. Das ist so nervig wenn er zum tausendsten Mal irgendein Zitat von sich lässt. Hätte es nicht gereicht die Hintergrundgeschichte mit bekannten Charakteren auszubauen? Dann hätte Cloud vielleicht auch einen Grund gehabt mit Zack befreundet zu sein. So wie es gezeigt wurde kannten die sich kaum.

Bei der Wahl zwischen einem PC und einer Konsole würde ich ja ersteres wählen^^ Klar, kostet in der Anschaffung erstmal mehr, aber mit der richtigen Hardware kann der auch mehrere Jahre noch gute Dienste verrichten. Nicht so wie die aktuelle Konsolengeneration die teilweise nichtmal 60 FPS auf maximaler Auflösung schafft. Deswegen soll es doch jetzt auch diese PS4K geben, welche mit etwas besserer Hardware aufwarten soll.

Und beim Let's Play hat Oriental Blue: Ao no Tengai gewonnen. Ich habs allerdings nach ein paar Stunden bereits abgebrochen xD Es war zwar nicht so furchtbar wie Romancing SaGa (was bei der vorherigen Abstimmung gewonnen hat), aber irgendwie sind sich die Spiele trotzdem sehr ähnlich. So weiß man die meiste Zeit nicht wohin, hat aber eine große Welt die man bereisen kann. Das ist auch der Grund warum ich keinen Bock hatte noch weiterzuspielen. Das Gameplay ist zwar okay (nicht so wie die tausend Monsterhorden und das nervige Kampfsystem von Romancing SaGa), aber gepackt hat es mich nun auch nicht. Da werde ich doch lieber Persona 2 anfangen :D Auch wenn die Fanübersetzung von Eternal Punishment noch immer nicht fertig ist.

Hab die Tage auch Kingdom Hearts Unchained gelöscht. Es hat einfach zuviel meiner Zeit verschlungen xD
