Sorry for the late reply. Was busy lately.

Understandable. I personally found the Heaven's Arena interesting from the get-go, as I love how they introduced Nen and set up the eventual Gon vs Hisoka fight. Greed Island, while still enjoyable, had arguably one of the weakest antagonist in the series in Gensuru (relative to the rest of the antagonists, mind you), and it kinda pales in comparison to the arcs before and after it. On its own, though, it's still a very solid arc, and very much needed to introduce Bisuke's character and make the boys develop their own Nen abilities.

Good to hear. Let me know what you think of the CA arc when you're done reading it.

Great rankings man! York New really is so good and my fav after Chimera!

The manga ain't really great after Chimera. Putting aside the terrible art, it seems like Togashi just became a novel author writing in huge texts of dialogue and sometime overcomplicating things. nonetheless if you decide to read it, do tell me how you found the latest arcs.

The Promised Neverland is awesome my dude! Are you caught up? :D

No idea but prob in 3-4 chaps maybe :p. 900 was DAAAAMNNNN GOOOOD bro! That song gave me goosebumps lol!

For a time, I tried buying as many FE games as I could, but I stopped after I bought Fates because I couldn't keep up with buying so many. I've barely touched Fates, too, and I haven't beaten Awakening yet. (Going farther back, I realize that I haven't even beaten Shadow Dragon and Radiant Dawn, either; the only FE game I've ever beaten is Path of Radiance.) So, considering that I have that kind of pattern with any console/handheld games, I've decided to lay off on buying those kinds of games for a while. But Smash for Switch is quite tempting...

Oh, yes, Xenoblade is another game that I wanted to play (or more accurately, watch my sister play). On another note, I want Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia. While I do have a 3DS, I just don't have the money (or time) to buy/play all the games that I want. >.<

Well, since you are also a fan of mecha, like me, I thought that you may interested on it some time, so I thought it will be good to warn you about it, xd!

Of course, if you are not a ''demanding'' viewer, not being against ''underage sex'' (like I am), not beeing a hater of A1 Pictures (that handled the animation part) like me, not beeing against ''exsessive fanservice'', don't caring about ''plot holes'', lack of a ''deep story'', and ''brainless action'', and not having seen ''Evangelion'', ''Gurren Laggan'', or previous (and WAY BETTER) Trigger anime before, then you may like it, xd!

Now, I was forced by the (sometimes stupid) greek anime community to start watching Darling in the Flanxx (as if I didn't know already how awful it was from the youtube videos and the reviews), and after watching two episodes, what can I say... The whole show is really CRAPPY! Those who like it, are either pervents who just want to masturbate themselfs, either Evangelion haters that looking something on their tastes, or just stupid!
Btw, I already watched the notorious episode 2, and I was so furious with the ''sex metaphors'' (already existed from the first episode) that I changed my rating from 5 to... 3 already, and I totally agree with what its ''haters'' are said: The series isn't just an Eva ''clone'', but also an insult to Evangelion and everything that represents, since Darling it's nothing but a big ''sex joke''!!!
Just what's the series ''message'' to begin with? To convince (or should I say ''brainwash'') Japanese youth to be more willing to have ''open sex'' for having more childrens and solve the problem of the decline of Japanese population due to the law number of births every year in the country?! - episode 3 of Owari no Seraph had some simillar ''messages'' that nearly ruined the whole series! If the Japanese guys want to poison the minds of their childrens to do ''adult things'', what is that have to do with us?
Btw, in my country, having sex before your 20's is still considered something of a ''taboo'', xd!
giannis85 Mar 11, 2018 4:19 PM
Btw, I think you should really watch Suisei no Gargantia, because it may not be a ''perfect'' series (due to the limited number of episodes), but it's still good (if not great), enjoyable and original, heh, heh!

Hello! Thanks for accepting my friend request! Nice to meet you!
AcidRainForever Mar 10, 2018 8:51 PM
Thanks! And, yes, now that SSB is coming out on the Switch, I definitely have to get it. xD Breath of the Wild was something that I wanted, too, but I felt like it wouldn't be worth the investment with the Switch, since it's just a single-player game, and my sis' and I would spending most of our time playing the two games we're loyal to right now. We'd have trouble finding the time to watch my sis' play Breath of the Wild, as it seems to have much more content than the previous LoZ games.
AcidRainForever Mar 10, 2018 11:47 AM
Yeah, I watched the trailer for it last night. But thanks for letting me know! Unfortunately, I don't have a Switch, nor the money to invest in one. ;-;

Hmm, good stuff. I agree with your HxH arc rankings for the most part, only I would swap Heaven's Arena with Greed Island. They're both really good training arcs; Heaven's Arena's purpose is to set up for Yorknew City with the introduction of Nen to Gon and Killua, and Greed Island serves to expand upon the Nen abilities and get the boys to become stronger, preparing them for what's about to come in Chimera Ant. My favorite arc is unquestionably Chimera Ant, as it's an extremely well-written, thrilling, and dramatic story, with plenty of amazing new characters introduced. You'll come to love Meruem when you see his character development in the mid-late stages of the arc.

As for me, I'm enjoying the hell out of a manga a friend of mine recommended to me recently. It's called The Full-Time Wife Escapist. A rather obscure manga, but it's undoubtedly one of the best works I've come across in any fiction, and I'm loving every page of it. I'll comment more on this hidden gem when I'm finished with the work, if you're interested to know about it.
