I used to just only watch Anime, then I got friends >.> I still watch it whenever I can it's just that my social life has been digging into my anime time which means I'm going through both Fairy Tail and Fullmetal Alchemist at a Snail's Pace :(

Well, people only hate Umineko because they thought it would be the exact same as Higurashi, but if you think if it as it's own thing with some similar aspects, which is what I did. Now, to be fair, the Umineko anime doesn't have a very solid ending, but it didn't really affect my enjoyment of it (especially since I played the games, I know what the full ending is now). I love it because it's intense, gorgeous and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The OP is kickass too.

For my male, I would choose Battler Ushiromiya from Umineko no Naku Koro ni since he's smart, decisive and witty (and I would go gay for him if he was a real thing.

Female is a lot harder, a toss up between Mikasa Ackerman from Shingeki no Kyojin, Satsuki Kiryuuin from Kill la Kill or Misato Katsuragi from Evangelion

Ironically enough I think Clannad is one of the best anime from the last 10 or so years XD To be fair though, there's a lot of anime like that.

Ahhh I see, wasted potential. That's my opinion with Angel Beats, but since that was the show that introduced me to anime I can't really hate it XD
