Since long ago, I was always interested and even fascinated by shows like Battle of the Planets and Robotech (Gatchaman and Macross, I know that now ;-).

I didn't get into watching anime until recently (~ 2005). With the proliferation of better internet connections (and me bothering to check how those torrent-thingies work), things progressed rather exponentially.

But, there's only so many hours in the day, so these days I try so select stuff I know I'll like. I'll read a synopsis and check reviews on various websites before I decide to watch something. I could use some HELP though.

Suggestions are WELCOME. So please, check my list, find a pattern, and make one.

My tastes are pretty diverse. I appreciate a good story above everything else, failing that action, comedy and the occasional drama are good too. I don't really care about animation/characters/sound, as long as they don't intrude on the other aspects of the anime.

I tend to watch anime in marathon mode: one series at a time with little interruptions. For some series that works well, others not so much. If it's good, I may loose some sleep (only really need 6 hours of that anyway...) to finish a series.

As you can see I've not bothered to figure out how to customize the graphics. Basically I don't care enough to figure it out. Imagine it would be something nice if I did. The avatar is just something I threw together quickly in Paint.
