Video Game Brainrot
My favorite video game of all time is Final Fantasy VII. Don't be afraid to DM me about it if you want a 2 hour rant on why it's fucking amazing. I also like Fire Emblem: Awakening, OMORI, and Okami on similar levels.
I don't really have a favorite genre but it's somewhere between FPS games and anything with heavy character development. I like visual novels, usually. I've been an active fan of the AA series since ~2013. I've also gilded everything on Violent in ULTRAKILL, so that's pretty impressive. JRPGs are also pretty fun but grinding's a chore. Been playing TF2 since 2014. If you play on the east coast you might've unknowingly ran into me at some point. Also a fan of strategy games which probably doubles up with my major.
Current top 10 is probably FF7, FE:A, Okami, ULTRAKILL, God of War: Ragnarok, Ghost of Tsushima, TF2, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, The Great Ace Attorney: Chronicles, and OMORI, in no order.

Music Brainrot
Active trombone and piano player, slowly learning guitar and ukelele. Also grew up around 80's rock and pop alongside late 90's-early 00's rap. Favorite bands/artists from those eras are probably Aphrodite's Child, Michael Jackson, Queen, Eminem, MF DOOM, Tupac, and Biggie.
Big fan of shibuya-kei and city pop, as well. Love Tatsuro Yamashita and Mariya Takeuchi; have a cassette of the former as my first addition to my growing cassette collection. Also a big fan of breakcore, DnB, chipbreak, speedcore, anything with lots of percussion and some crazy BPMs and/or tempos. Love me some Venetian Snares, goreshit, Machine Girl, Aphex Twinn, Sabrepulse, and of course Sewerslvt. (Even though she wasn't really breakcore and was more of just an experimentalist mishmash of atmospheric DnB combined with different breaks but shush Lexapro Delirium is my comfort song)
Alsoa fan of indie shit in general. Probably one of the few people who likes the Castanets outside of "You Are The Blood" in HM2.

The sole moderator of the forum and a few other users (not me) wanted to automatically ban anyone from the forum who self-diagnosed themselves for being bigoted, whilst I (and many others) completely disagreed with this notion for many many reasons. To be honest, I think that moderator was too stubborn to hire other moderators, and promoted any idea that would decrease traffic to make their job easier (⌒-⌒; )
So sorry for rambling on. I needed to get that off my chest to someone. I’m still pretty pissed about that, even though it happened a few years ago (T ^ T) I’m glad to hear that online consensus on the topic has changed for the better nowadays.
Oh yeah, you said that you were waiting to get screened for autism, didn’t you? Well, I’m autistic myself and I know it can be a pretty long process so I hope all goes well with that!
