Yeah I'll definitely let you know what I think once I get around to actually reading it, and I'm sure you'll like Kakukaku, it's a really good manga

Honestly, I probably liked the fantasy aspect of the series more so than the romantic parts so that does sound pretty interesting, guess I'll have to check that out too

for favorites, I'd have to go with Berserk or Black Lagoon, but there is honestly a lot of really good seinen so it's hard to just name a few lol. What are some of your faves?

And yes, I am currently watching the new one. Are you caught up with it? If so, what do you think? Especially compared to the original if you've seen that too

it was a pretty cheesy romance/drama tbh... my friend introduced me to it so I kinda finished it out of courtesy, but I think the female mc was really good and she's the mc in pinocchio too so I got curious! but mannnn these dramas take so much timeeeeee; like 25 episodes about an hour each..! >__>;;
oh thanks for the recs! I'll definitely try to check them out, but in due time when I'm not suffocating neck-deep with work.. ; -;

yeaaaaaa have you seen lion king? omg I thought it was quite good; definitely nostalgia bomb if nothing else!
also omfg I saw the trailer for mulan and it looked really interesting too!
james cordon is great, but have you seen neil patrick harris though? his tony opening deserved a tony omg

holy, my shot's such a long song, must've took a lot of effort to memorize it! :o
now you just gotta perform it on broadway :')
OMG YES stay alive reprise was godlike, but I don't remember off the top of my head the one for dear theodosia :/
I thought 'wait for it' was also underrated, it was easily one of my favorite songs of the hamilton too; poor burr... :'(

haha I mostly just read seinen stuff.. shounen battle mangas, thrillers, and whatnot are great but I think I outlived that period of my life already... oof perhaps I'm getting too old for this... :')
blackjack is great if you're into medical stuff since imo it has the most realistic plot elements out of the lot that I've read. let me know what you think of it if you do end up starting! oh oof, the only k-drama I've watched is 'doctors' and never got around to starting 'pinocchio' :/
are you big on dramas?

I went to see lion king this past weekend and they played the cats trailer in the intro part; I think everyone in the theater cringed LOL. although funny enough james cordon is starring in it... I used to watch his show a lot hahaha

bruh, I have the intro 'alexander hamilton' memorized (βŒβ– _β– )
you know you're a rapgod if you can aggressively rap lafayette's verses in 'guns and ships' LOL.... not me
also listening to hamilton's outro 'who lives who dies who tells your story' the first time literally had me crying :')
omfg I love 'words fail,' ben platt had the intonation and articulation down PERFECTLY
'waving through an window' and 'you will be found' were my other favorites!

oof, projects and essays before uni even starts? what in tarnation... ?__?
manga-wise mostly seinen stuff. currently reading this gem called 'welcome to black jack' and absolutely love it. also recently finished 'omoide emanon' and thought told a pretty interesting, short story. not sure how big you are into manga though..
books-wise just a few textbooks that I don't think are worth mentioning LOL...

ok, fair enough, I gotta admit Gerard Butler played a wicked phantom LOL
I don't personally find him that attractive but I know all his youtube phantom segments are filled with comments of ladies swooning over him, like oof...

o I've never seen the sweeney todd standalone film... actually didn't even know there was one! :o
I just googled Cat's trailer.... I wish I could unsee this abomination.... I'm crying blood rn LOL

omg same I've probably broke the repeat button on hamilton already, and soon on dear evan hansen haha.

True, I was really into it though cause i binged a bunch of the chapters when i just started out reading it but i also definitely felt like it kinda got repetitive somewhere in the middle. I think things started picking up more when they entered college and started focusing on some of the other characters too.
Never heard of Hirunaka no Ryuusei but I added it to my ptr, synopsis sounds interesting and the score is pretty high too. Honestly, besides Namaikizakari, I've hardly read any other shoujo mangas tbh. My manga list is still pretty small. Since you like shoujo manga though, you might like Kakukaku Shikajika which is a pretty good josei manga that I read a while ago. It's not a romance but it's got some crazy good character development

Yeah, seinen is cool cause it's usually pretty mature and diverse as a genre, it has a lot of action/drama shows but also quite a bit of romances too which is nice.

And nah, I haven't started the manga yet but the anime is one of my favorite shoujo anime, so I really should look into starting it some time soon.

yw and thanks for accepting! :)
I'm doing okay! had an rough couple of months at work but (thankfully) now past the worst of it so I got some time to read/study and play some games this weekend, wbu?

hugh jackman has broadway experience?? dang I never would've guessed... >__>
I think javert/jvj kinda killed the experience for me so I didn't really pay much attention to the other characters haha. overall I prefer musicals over their film versions; I had a similar experience with phantom of the opera, but I thought the film was still respectfully executed

luuuul I remember my sweeney todd experience... my friend rec'd it and I knew nothing about it going in. needless to say I was pretty on-edge the entire film haha! I thought about catching willy wonka just for christian borle since he has a talent for weird characters heh. sadly I don't live close enough to nyc to catch broadway :/

thanks lol, hope you had a good one
and yeah i enjoy some shoujo anime and manga every now and then, all though seinen is usually more my thing if im being honest lol
but i did notice that we are both reading namaikizakari, which i find to be a pretty enjoyable shoujo manga tbh

and thanks homie, it takes a person of culture to know a person of culture :)
