I feel sorry for you man. Your comment section gets raided by Gintama fans. The donkey says "well you haven't watched it properly!" and goes on to list episodes which he thinks will make you laugh saying "you will definitely laugh in these episodes!" He proceeds to double down and says that your whole review is a sham because you focused too much on the negatives. I respect the fact that you do not reply to most of these clowns.

Ive listed some of the funny in Gintama below, assuming you have the tolerance and patience to try out what ive said
Lets make a bet, see if you do like 6 episodes ive mentioned or not
If you do i say you continue ginatama and retract what you say about it.
If you didnot then id say you simply have a different standard for humour

Here are some top funny arcs you've missed: love-chorris arc, genderbender arc,scandal arc, soul switch arc, owe arc, Frozen time arc, attorny gintama arc.
Google all of these and watch them they make the top funny in gintama, each will consist of 3-4 ep each.

There are also standalone episodes which are funny, but they're like easter eggs, you gotta go thro them all i'll name 6 of them it definetly hits the funny
eps:119,28,33,231,273,333. Go to any anime websites and watch these 6 and only six of these and tell me you didnt find them funny, Lets see....

Very pathetic review, on the anime Gintama, I've seen other reviews of yours, which are by far worse than Gintama yet you have rated them higher than 2. In your review you say you've enjoyed some episodes in it, however if thats the case your rating should'nt be only 2. The only reason why you've rated it so low is because somehow it didnt match your expectation and you wanted to lower the average ratings, for the reviews you wrote the appropriate rating would be a 5 or 6, 2 is a rating you give when its absolutely intolerable not even the slightest quality, 2 is a rating you give since you dont want to add a 0.

Besides humour is subjective, but however after reading your review i find that u cant tolerate slapstick humour, well i personally dont like slapstick but unlike you i appreciate it's attempts at humour in other aspects, you on the other hand focused too much the negatives[lets find a way to critise this as if you deliberative want to dislike it], maybe you placed extermely high expectations for this which led to your disappointment. You let the negative aspects cloud the brighter side of this anime, your review is no longer objective.

Yes certain characters are intolerable like: Shinpachi ,Otae, Sa-chan etc. too much yelling. But i assure you it's tolerable when you see certain

Besides after seeing you give considerably higher rating for shonen like naruto,jojo and aot; i find it surprising that you did not enjoy the fights in Gintama
which is top class standard.And also this anime makes references to the animes that you've watched i find it surprising you didnt notice.

For someone to give naruto shippuden an 8, I find it surprising that someone with a high tolerance could'nt bear with the anime gintama , i highly doubt you watched the whole 201 ep, im certain that you skipped a good chunk of episodes, which had all of the funny in it.

And no youtube doesnt show most of the funny that you've missed, u need to bear with it as a whole, i say continue watching gintama after those 201 episodes there's more it is definetly worth the investment.

I personally dropped gintama becuz i didnt find it funny back then, but someone insited i rewatch it, and now my opinions have reversed.If you want to enjoy truly enjoy it: watch it with an open mind, tolerate and bear through the annoying characters and the slapstick humour. Trust me it's worth the investment. I was like you back then.
