hmm.. I dropped Nozaki-kun because I couldn't stand the red haired character for some reason. I also didn't really care for the main characters either but it was mostly the red haired guy.

yeah! the two MCs were both amazing and I thought their motives were really interesting. the visuals are so unique as well.

yeah, I think teamwork is pretty essential to make a sport anime enjoyable. I can definitely see it getting popular because of queerbaiting though lol
ping pong is an amazing show! it's definitely one of the best sports anime I've watched. everything from the music to the character development is just done so well.

yeah I agree, a lot of the romances feel like clones of each other because of the overused tropes.
friendships are definitely developed a lot better most of the time.

I agree, romances that grow and build naturally are much more satisfying to watch.
yeah, I honestly like that, I think it would be a lot more interesting if their relationship stayed platonic.
I don't mind romance if it's done well, but if the romance is going to be shoehorned in, I'd much rather it be a well-written friendship instead.
favourite platonic relationships... hmm I can't really think of that many, but I really like Okabe and Mayuri's friendship from Steins;Gate.

yup, same here. I have 3 exams this week but other than that, it's been pretty chill as well.

that's fair. I feel the same way about most shoujo romance anime with them trying too hard to make the male lead attractive.
I only have a handful of romance anime that I actually liked, but I definitely agree that romance as a subplot is much more enjoyable and real. some of my favourite anime like Bakuman and Major have romance subplots that slowly build up over the multiple seasons which makes it much more worthwhile to watch.
we've talked about this before but aside from amazing visuals and OST, the romance in Your Name is sooo forced. they swapped a few times and all of a sudden fell in love? LOL
hmm.. I guess their development together has to feel natural and the characters have to feel realistic. they also need chemistry !! wbu?

LOL exactly! idk, the story did such a good job at making the "protagonist" so unlikeable that I was actually glad when I watched what happened to him at the end XD
my least favourite show would probably have to be Eromanga-sensei. it was just so bad and idk how it got animated. that reminds me, here's a funny fake article about the author of Eromanga and his sister: Clannad and Nozaki-kun would probably be a close second, but I haven't completed them.

Bakuman is amazing! you should definitely watch it imo. it's definitely one of, if not my favourite shounens.
although, if you don't want to watch the anime, I've heard that the manga is just as good if not better. so maybe you could read it instead? :o

Don't Starve!! my friends and I love playing that occasionally. we'll suddenly get the urge to play, grind a new world until summer day 75 or something, then randomly quit. then repeat the process every few months or so XD
I've never heard of Death Road to Canada though. is it fun?

hmm.. you learn most of it as you go, but some tips I can think of are:
- try to invest your resources in one or two characters at first, because it's very hard to get the resources later on. once your two characters are maxed, you can start investing in other characters.
- switch a lot and use the elemental reactions to do more damage
- never overcap on resin
- aim for attack% artifacts at first because they're the best early game
hopefully your luck is good because a lot of the game relies on luck LMAO
