Ok so this is going to sound real fucking boomer but I've been watching anime for the better part of the past 25 or so years and rarely have I seen stuff which was as over the top absurd and funny as this show.
It's like a parody of other isekai anime without actually making references. The main character has more personality than the rest of the cast + the combined casts of the past three shows I've watched and truly carries the show over it's weaknesses.

Overrated.
Well this anime certainly has become a surprise hit in many metrics apparently striking the right nerve in the community using the ever same overused formula of Romcom and some made-to-be-cute characters. Objectively speaking though there's very little positive which you could actually say about this show. You can sum up the anime like this: Dude and Girl are into each other but due to some poorly constructed excuse of a delusion both suffer from which makes them believe that confessing first puts you into an inferior position in a relationship, they strive to make each other confess first. Since both of them are considered "geniusses" ...

Well so this is based on the current state of the Anime as I write this review (EP 112):
It's a fighting shounen type of anime quite similar to the likes of One Piece, Fairy Tail or Naruto. More or less two main characters who receive gradual power ups while fighting stronger enemies. The Art is kinda mediocre and defo not one of the series' strong points even if you want to give them credit for their own "style" it won't change the fact that it's just not good. Sound is ok and almost always fitting so no complaining here. The things which I want to talk about ...

TLDR: Could have been a good relief of the nowadays very sucked dry Isekai-Guy becomes hero- type of anime but fails.
Story: Whole class with teacher gets beamed over to other world where they're being turned into heroes to fight blabla whatever you get it. One dude, the protagonist gets intentionally friendly fired into the depth of the dungeon by another dude from the class where he then has to resort to eating monster meat and other stuff to survive but making him quite the badass in return vowing to not give a shit about the other people in his class no more. This anime is so bad I actually went ahead and looked up my old MAL login credentials just so I could login and talk about how bad this series is. Let's start with Setting/Story: Setting: Dude starts tutoring a bunch of generic chicks coming straight out of a bullshit bingo of stereotypes in regards to character traits, background and looks.
