Its been a while since I found a comedy anime/tv show that really made me laugh out loud and at the same time made me go into tears.

One of the best comedy anime I ve seen, with an incredible and unexpected slice of life

So whats Hinamatsuri about?

Well its about many things actually, three main girls with each one of them with really different personalities surrounded by a lot of intersting characters

Hina a girl with incredible psychic powers that suddenly crash in the apartment of a yakuza member ... named Nitta, even when at first Hina was a pain for Nitta, he adopts her as his own daughter.

Anzu the girl with not so great psychic which purpose was to defeat Hina and ends being a homeless person.

and Hitomi(my favorite) a normal middle schooler who cant say no to anyone who asks her for help, which is how she gets into a lot of intersting stuff such as bartending an age 15

So I broke down the main characters, so why you should why this show?

First of all the development and relationships.

Relationships in Hinamatsuri are incredibly well developed Nita and Hina form a bond, becoming more and more like a Father and Daughter, you see how the Yakuza member starts getting more attached to Hina even though she only causes him problems to a point that she even gets disowned, Hina as she grows closer to Nita, she starts becoming more a part of his life, his family and his friendly yakuza members and adapting to the life he is living.

Anzu becomes homeless and starts to gets food by stealing, later on she is teached by the homeless people how to make a legal living, she becomes closed with an old man, and she is kind of "adopted" by him and get into a grand father-daughter relationship, that makes incredible funny and tear jerker moments

and Hitomi becomes attached to the clientele of the bar she is working which lead us to an incredible and intersting plot through all the series

Every relationship in Hinamatsuri is incredibly developed, supporting cast is relevant and actually makes the gags and plot improve, 'I havent seen such an incredible chemistry among characters in years.

Comedy

The best aspect of the show, what mades Hinamatsuri comedy different is not just gags or absurdly scenes or moments but it doesn’t stop at just making funny jokes. Jokes don’t bog down the pace because they’re seamlessly woven into the story and character arcs, the jokes are not part of the story, the story is part of the jokes and its amazing.

Comedy is so well directed in this show, that even the exaggerating animated faces are so well timed, the fact that the gags stick even into further episodes, makes this show gold, it reminds me a lot of Konosuba first episodes (Aqua being eaten by a frog). Amazing Humour.

FInal Thoughts

I really want to write a lot on this section but I dont want to ruin it for you, Hinamatsuri is really worth it as a comedy show, it has one the freshest comedy I have seen in years in any mean possible, it has no underdeveloped or unnecessary characters, the slice of life in this is just perfect, not to much to be consider a drama but enough to make a balance for the really amazing story, in the same episode you might find yourself crying of laughter and suddenly tearing apart, its such a rollercoaster. I havent seen something like this in a while, so I hope you can feel the same way this show made me feel.

Give it a try, you wouldn't be disappointed.

I'm surprise how they can handle different genres, nailed almost all of them and come up with a really interesting story

Story

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia had a really good story, it is about a boy who has an interesting relationship with a ghost who can't remember how she died, it seems he is the only person who can really see her, and so in order to help her discover why she can't leave this world, he funds the "Paranormal Club" which goals is to solve paranormal stuff in ... the school in which every case revolves in Yuko death.

The story starts dark with a tone of comedy moments which make this a true hit, but then it just starts getting a lot of comedy arcs and starts loosing the dark theme it created, its still good, but it kind of ruined the main genre of this anime which is horror, still really enjoyable to be honest, its just interesting mysterious and even funny to watch

Art

Best feature about this show, really unique artstyle. The horror genre is really settle on the amazing animation shown in this show

Sound

Amazing OP and ENDING, voice characters are all over the top, ost used to create suspense or fear was great. another great feauture

Character
The characters are good, the MC is great, not too shy, not to perverted, funny and in cotrol of the situation, Yuuko was amazing, great development, story and so appealing to watch attitude, we didn't need kirie or okonogi tbh, well kirie was good but okonogi ruined this section for me

Enjoyment

If you are looking for an horror anime that will scare the shit out of you, don't watch this

if you are looking for a mystery anime with dark scenes, enjoyable main characters and really good love moments, this is for you

Imo tasagore fails on the horror tag, i mean its dark but not dark enough to make this this scary or produce fear, instead it delivers a message of accepting even the darkest past of ourselves, since this will help us move forward.

The first half of this movie was great, unfortunately the other half is just plain meh

Story
So bakemono no ko starts really strong, the introduction of Ren who felt like he was abandoned, how he feels lonely, and somehow discovers a beast that would take him to a magical world as an apprentice, they both have their flaws Ren being a brat and Kumatetsu being overconfident about its strength. In just one hour they show us ... true father/son bonding along with enough development to carry the second part of the movie but something happened...

Unfortunately the other hour of the movie show us nothing, 0 character/plot development, What is a villain? What is development? how to end a movie? awful, everything was just bad, Unnecessary cliche elements(the girl and the unseen dad) took half an hour of the second part of the movie, that could been used for the villain development or for any other possible ending.

Art
Appealing artstyle, good fighting scenes, every background was perfect. Best feature of this movie

Sound
Voice characters were great in this one without taking in consideration grown up Ren, the ost was just good.

Character
Kyuuta and Kumatetsu were great characters, so likable even at the beginning when they didn't have their development, just relatable and not cliche at all, we got to see them grown together and really portrayed the father/son relationship that I'd never seen in anime.

The supporting cast was ok with little interaction the monkey and the pig character were likable and helped understand us a little bit more about the main characters.

The "girlfriend" "dad" "villian" and every other character that appear were bad, no development, no real reason to be there, didn't give us anything relevant to the story/character development just trash

Overall
As I stated before this could have been better, really disappointed about this movie, I know they didn't have the budget to gave us a longer movie and need to rush some stuff, but they just could have rid of the things that were unnecessary, and came up with something good.

i just think this was the most underrated anime from winter season.

Just don't overthink it, this show in a nutshell is girl tease boy, he plans something to get tease her, backfires and gets teased again, simple and repetitive but very funny every time

Story 7/10
The story is repetitive but not boring, they somehow manage to make completely different scenes without getting the usual plot elements (tease, plans something, backfires,gets teased) and get a lot of comedy moments from it, simple but not everyone can do this.

Aside from the ... story there is a little screen time for 3 girls, whose names I don't remember, and it's really good, with just a few minutes they show us 3 likable and different characters which are in the same class as the main, experiencing their problems, they show childish relatable stories with great comedy.

Art 9/10
The animation background it's amazing, the character design isn't my cup of tea but i got to admit that it is really impressive, it represents the age of our characters so well, by being kind of a childish artstyle, every background when Nishkita and Takagi walk together is great, just as if it were from a movie, I was really impressed by this aspect of the show.

Sound 7/10
The ending, and op are not good at all and there is no point on reviewing. 3/10
The voice character its really adhoc to its characters, this a feature i really like.
Takagi's voice is adorable and it suits her so well when he teases Nishikata 10/10
Nishikata's voice represents well the age of the character, and the weird sounds when he gets frustrated can't be better 10/10

Character 9/10
You might say ¨Nishikata is a pussy" "Oh man he is so dense" "What an annoying character" they are 12 years old, try to picture yourself at that time and basically you will describe yourself as the 3 words I used above, I think his attitude really portrays the age in which he is right now.

Takagi is really likable, she basically carries the show herself, appealing attitude, combined with a good representation on how girls really act at that age when they like someone and with a some mature comedy makes Takagi the star of the show 10/10

Lots of chemistry between this two characters, you can kind of feel the "love", every episode Nishikita starts getting more in love with takagi without really realizing(just when we were younger), great interactions between characters.

Enjoyment 10/10
I really enjoy watching this series, it show us a simple life we all lived, with characters that actually feel kind of real, the teasing of girls when we were younger, the fluster moments you had without knowing why, they show us love seeing it with eyes of kids. The comedy element is present in here, I have laughed in all episodes so far, and the management of different stories but being faithful to their (plot,plans tease, backfires, tease) without making it annoying its really amazingly executed.

The last 4 episodes made me change my score from 8 to 9, amazing enjoyment I got from this series, amazing ending, I wish we have some of this simple but unique shows more frequently.

This show was a huge surprise. The ending is beyond Perfect

Sometimes slow pacing isn't good pacing.

So Hai to Gensou might have the best animation, ost, ending and opening I've heard in anime, and had me expecting more from it, since episode 1, it was cliched but promisng, what fails with this anime is the pacing. Even though I'm a fan of well build up characters, and slow pacing shows helps them do this very well, just like FMA Brotherhood.

The slow ... pacing in this anime didn't help either in the story nor the character development, even the character interactions were slow? like the conversations between them feel like they took ages, to get through.

Art and Sound: 10/10

I won't review the Art or the Sound in this anime, since for me they were beyond perfect, and it was something that make me go through this series.

Characters: 7/10

The characters were kind of realistic, not MC who is OP in every situation, but we got cliched characters like the shy girl who can't pronounce a word, the one who is very energetic and we all love, but we know she is not going to win, and the mysterious girl who starts to opens, so nothing too entertaining and for the male cast we have the bulky guy who is sweet on the inside, and the MC rival who is sometimes annoying.

Enjoyment: 7/10

The enjoyment for this series was good, it had a lot of promise and I might start reading the novel just to see if it was just a bad adaptation as a lot of people say, since they all are saying that we got development in the light novel, even though its not perfect I would like a second season tho, it was good and promising and kind of a different isekai anime, not just your boring isekai anime of every season, but unfortunately the slow pacing killed it, I hope they can improve this feature if they do make season 2.

So what this, if you are looking for a good animation, amazing ost, ending, op and a kind of premising story, and to see how slow pacing can kill a promising anime

"That's how you make an OP main character without making the story or other characters irrelevant"

Kind of cliched, lame but hard working character develops a technique which helps him grew stronger faster, more than half of the story takes place on the development of our not OP character how he wants to be stronger to get close to a girl he ... likes, how he overcomes his weakness and how suddenly he awakes a certain ability that helps him get stronger, as cliche as it might sound, it's really well executed, has some premise and im really looking forward to season 2.

Really appealing art style, character design is good, fighting scenes are just smooth and fresh, really good animation, one of the best features about this anime

Sound: 8

Voice Actors: 10/10 well suited voice characters in every character, Bell's and Goddess voice characters are superb
Ost: 9/10 they now were to place the ost, really great moments.
Ending: 6/10 meh

Even though they are cliche, Bell's development to become stronger was really great, not dumb like Kirito from SAO, you actually see what he overcomes himself mentally, and physically. Goddess and the Others are just really likable, you cant find an irrelevant character in this first season. I'm really impressedç

Good watch, if you want something interesting with a good comedy, and excellent characters. its permissive and I hope they would be a second season of this anime. Fighting scenes are really good, and there is character development.

I recommend this series if you want something interesting with good comedy points, and a really likable main character, that works his way to become OP, also the harem setting isnt annoying like in some other shows, really good watch

Tsuki ga Kirei is the purest, simplest, relatablest and most realistic romance anime I've seen.

Story: 9/10
Simple, Relatable , Well executed and Amazingly Realistic

The story starts with the main protagonists not knowing each other but repeatedly noticing one another, then starting to meet each other due to accidents, but not ... able to talk to each other since they are shy, it starts getting interesting when they start talking via some kind of social media called Line, they both have interest in one another but they are just both to shy at first.

What this anime does amazing, is the way the represent middle school relationships, every person who had been in one at that time, can relate so much to their problems, like being shy to talk to each other at school (People would start to gossip), being able to express their feelings, jealousy, and most importantly how to handle a FIRST LOVE, how difficult it can be, and more at that age, how it seems so complicated, due to their inexperience

Another amazing thing that this series is the family relationship the both have with their families, this is also so relatable, I just see myself at that age, how you think your parents have it all on you, but they are just worried about you, If I recall in ep 9 there is a part where The main protagonist mom, portrays what a mom is, just how loving this beings can be, how they just want the best for us, even when we think they are just annoying.

To keep it short, its simple, its relatable, and its just so well executed in every aspect you could think that it makes it so realistic. Hands Down to the simplest but incredibly well executed anime I've seen

Characters: 9/10

Akane and Kota's relationship had an amazing chemistry, the love they show even though they didnt say much, was like the story simple and real, you can feel the love between our characters, we can see an amazing development of this relationship, thanks to secondary characters which play the role as the love triangle, without spoiling anything there were a good factor on their development, we saw a more mature Kota that would fight for what he loves, a more expressive Akane that would show her feelings, and the problems that they faced thanks to this characters were Real, no unnecessary drama due to misunderstandings but real life problems.

Loved Kota's development in this series, so mature.

The OST was placed where it needed to be placed, I cried a lot in certain parts of this series just because this amazing ost, and the ending. They were Perfect

This anime bring me up to my middle school days, everything that happens in this anime is just, relatable, The Dazai quotes that were said on certain episodes, were so just well placed, the ending credits mini episodes, were funny af, Animation was good, music was perfect.

If you are looking for a realistic anime, with an amazing ending, with well develop characters, this one is for you, I have seen more than 40 romance animes, and this in on the top 5, just an incredibly simplistic story that was amazingly well executed

An outstanding story that was amazing for half of the series, and was ruined just because one character.

So Zankyuo no Terror, tells a story about two young boys Nine and Twelve who become terrorist thanks to a problem caused by the Japanese government corruption, It introduce our characters with the making of a bomb on a crowded building but no one gets injured so whats the point behind this terrorist actions? Zankyuo no Terror gives you one hell of a story along with good display of how government ... corruption works.

So Whats Good?

+The plot of this series starts high paced, but its just outstanding you can get really good vibes of a truly masterpiece on just the first episodes, you just don't know whats going to happen at first, interesting riddles, stories that go along with the plot, just amazing

+The characters start as strongly likable and unique.

+Animation is one of the best features about this anime, just so aesthetically pleasing watch, and combined with the glimpses of soundtrack we get, is such a watch.

+Amazing ending, although it was unbearable from ep 6 to 9, it manages to have a really pleasant ending

So what's bad?

-Basically it can be defined as from ep 6 until ep 9, Five is just unbearable to watch, no point of being the villian of the show, Five is just so unlikable even as a villain perspective, just awful.

-Five was the main problem of this series, it made the high paced but interesting show to a slow and boring anime that was almost unbearable and nothing to be compared to the first episodes

So best aspect of this show is the plot, that displays the true intentions of these "Terrorist", the animation that was so unique and the main characters aside from Five, it was a shame that it could have been better, but its still a really enteretaining watch

True definition of a rom-com, that portrays amazingly what friendship between guys is.

Whats good about this anime?

+Amazing chemistry among characters, this aspect of the show is just amazing how even though the main characters are really different from each other they feel so close, just amazing.

+Good Art style, not kyoto animation kind of art but beautiful when it ... has to be.

+A rom-com thats actually funny

+Voice Actors are just perfect in this anime, really good cast

Whats bad?

-Dont expect to much story from it, it started really good with the first episodes, then it turns okay

- Heroine was just meh, I mean it was just right but it could ve been better

So I reccommend this series if you are looking for a heartwarming love and comedy experience, don't expect it to be intelectually challanging or difficult plots, its just what it is, a lighthearted rom-com,

So what's good about this anime?

+The story even though its complicated it at first, it has a lot of deeper meaning than it actually is, amazing way to express the process of growing up

+Did you realize this anime was made ... 18 years ago? WHAT AN ANIMATION stunning in every way possible, the art style was so unique, In love with the art in this amazing anime

+I can't imagine this anime without The Pillows, this band captured every moment and make it amazing, the voice actors might not be pleasable for everyone but tbh it give them more of a realistic personality

+ The characters, were really good without spoiling anything they were relatable and others unique

What's bad?

-Hard to read the story at first, but after rewatching you start to getting the story and the deeper meaning of it

You know what I think the best thing this anime does? It leaves an impact. With its amazing soundtrack and its wacky random epicness, it leaves a lasting impression on you. If you liked it or not, it left something in you that will never fade.
