I felt like it was trying to be far more than it actually was, and that it was heading too far in the shock value direction (i.e. random gruesome murders and the main girl being violently beaten by her mother pretty much every five minutes of screentime) for my tastes. The protagonist is also an awful character. I really cannot see what anyone likes about it-- it wasn't even interesting enough to justify watching to the end for the sake of a review.

I'd recommend watching Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu instead if you want a cool show from this season.

Heh, glad to hear you liked Barakamon too. It's a really great anime. I'm not sure if there's anything this year that has spoken to me in the same way, unless the second half of Shirobako counts.

ye I know it's uninterestinghues ;). yes, i'm shitpostking, dedicatedt to quality shitposting on tumblar. Yw, I like your posts, all da screens of shows you watch, pretty cool, it shows me you have good taste in chinese cartoons x). Your ratings are surprisingly high though O_o. Usually people become elitist faggots who need to rates shows low so they can feel smart. I'm guilty of that too sometimes.
