You're welcome, mememo. I hope you will enjoy Haibane Renmei as much as I did. ^^

Zettai Shonen is an unexpectedly good series. It's not insane at all, it actually makes sense, in some way. Kind of. ^^:

Heyas, mememo. Nice meeting you here, too. ^^

Haha. That's cool that my favourites are on your to-watch list, but I wonder which of the five series is the odd one out...

Yes, Haibane Renmei is very well worth watching. It was one of the first series I watched back when I got into anime in early 2003. It made a big impact on me with its strong story and likeable characters and wonderful soundtrack. It was one of those series that really got me into watching anime. I don't want to say too much so just watch it. :D :D :D

In fact, any series based on manga/doujins or created by Yoshitoshi ABe are worth watching. NieA_7 is also a wondrous series. ^^

I started with the likes of Mazinga and others similar Mecha, but the first i really loved was Hokuto no Ken and its sequels along with Ranma 1/2
I watched many anime regardless of its type if they're somehow enjoyable, but as you said 'bout me and my favved ones, i'd suggest you Trigun or Basilisk, even though the last is more dramatic than comic, i liked it much more than i'd have thought ^^
Oh, i dunno why, but it just come to my mind about another one called Master Mosquito being similar to Hellsing in some ways, so you could even give it a try =P

Wish you a nice Weekend and keep in touch ^^

Thanks, but i had the TV helping me out when i started, so all hail to you since you had to search around by yourself ^^
I noticed you have Tenchi and Nausicaa favved yet you know Trigun too. What kind of anime are you usually up to?
Kuma-Kuma May 28, 2009 10:53 AM
cool...i started in 2005 with Inuyasha when it was airing on TV...it is also the only anime that i have on DVD. the rest of the anime i have is on my external hard drives since i download all my anime.

but it was in 2008 that i saw 137 out of the 196 anime shows that is on my completed list.
