Yeah Portugal is the same, and I dont know with the US, but if I chose Japan and wanna come back and get Portuguese again they let me easily. So I would go with Japanese, wouldnt even think twice, you are in a really nice spot :p

Yeah it would be weird if it was there for so long! I left the bike behind the gate, so its in clear view, they most have check the number and I see that im no longer in japan or smtg.
(or someone just stole it xD)

But its a huge coicidence non the less xD
Ofcourse, it's no use to me now xD its a greyish and has a basket in the front, also prolly it has a lock os you would have to break it. xD

I stayed in this share house, strongly recommend it. https://apartments.gaijinpot.com/en/rent/view/407508
The washer and dryer are very good an free, and there's plenty, also double kitchen, but you can check everything in the site I think.
I loved the location also.

Oh so you are half Japanese! Thats so nice! I had to go on a student visa, no other way. It's so hard for me to go to Japan :\

And by the way, I left my bike there, at the sakura house, they probably already took it tho XD

I was on the ground floor, 1st room, upper bleach, to be especific xD

Yes, sakura house is too expensive, plus, you have to share the room, and the coin washing machine suck, and there only one per floor if I remember correctly.

Yeah Its an amazing price, but it's in Nogata, might be far, but I didnt had any problem working in Omotesando. You are prolly in a student visa, which allows you to work 28h a week, but if you try going to "Las Chicas" I'm pretty sure you can get a job, or at least, its worth the try, and they dont care about visa very much, the chef is working full time on a student visa xD You get beetween 950 to 1050yen an hour usually.

Well, he's a cool guy(but difficult), but he's kind of a big deal in Japan right now. And You prolly can only meet him at "Las Chicas".
They usually make a small interview, to test your english skills, japanese aint very important, and its a plus that you are studying it. You should definitly check it out.

Yeah I was there pretty recently.Dont get me, it is a good building. But I liked my lates one the best, it had a nice rooftop, where we watched Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo, projection in a sheet at night, I was the only non Japanese, It is one of my best memories. Besides I made great japanese friends.

I payed 62.000Y if I remember right, for my own room, it had also a double kitchen, and the dry and waching machines where many and free. Even the internet was much better. The location also was much more japanese-like.

The actor was Hiroki Narimiya, I was pretty impressed when I met him, coz I already knew him when I was in Portugal from a few dramas, super cool experience also! :D

LOL. Same as I was ahah, what a coincidence! Theres even a famouse actor I knew living on that street. I love that location. But I kinda got tired of the Sakura house and moved to a house residence with Japanese people, and better conditions. Improved my experience by a lot.

Since at school and home I woulnt have interaction with no Japanese people, which was kind of the point of me being in Japan.

I'll be sure to hit Shimo Kita when I comeback!

I lived near Yoyogi-koen and Yoyogi Hachiman stations, at a Sakura House at the beggining, then I moved to Nogata!

I worked in a place called "Las Chicas", its a nice cocktail bar/restaurant in Omotesando! If by any chance you go nearby. take a look and let me know ahahah

Shimokitazawa, name is familiar but I think I never went there! But I went through Takeshita Dori all the time!

Damn, I miss it a lot!

ps,: if you want a part-time, that's also the place to go ;)

Im just saying because I was studying at the ISL at Takadanobaba. Shinjuku is crazy, really crowded, but it has some nice places. I still prefer Shibuya and Harajuku/Omotesando xD Can't wait to come back there :)
oddnoise Mar 6, 2017 1:55 PM
Are you maybe in ISL? Who, knows, Takadanobaba, by any chance?
oddnoise Mar 5, 2017 4:08 PM
That's awesome, sadly im not longer in Tokyo, but i'll be back soon enough!
What are you doing there if I may ask? :D
