FLCL is about a story of a boy who lives a total normal life in a normal life in which nothing happens... or thats what the dumb kid says before every episode (p.s. this kid lied to us). Naota , the main character and the boy who lied to our face, tells us that everything is normal especially when a company builds a big @ss Iron on top of a hill that has no use (psss this is called foreshadowing). He is 12 and a 17 year old girl, Mamimi, is in love with him and is also his brother ex. These two characters are
...
talking when in a "normal life" a girl in a Vespa , yes that right a Vespa, starts beating the crap out of him and when he recovers a horn comes out of his head... and a robot comes out of it later on but that total "Normal" and the girl with the Vespa, Haruko, beats that as well.
So this might be one of the strangest Animes I've ever seen but its in a good way.The story is short and straight to the point... sort of but it's great. The story is very creative in many ways and starts off by throwing the "How to Make An Anime" book right out the window. The art style is fantastic jumping from a traditional anime to a manga strip to a cartoony look and feel, and a south park animation in one episode. If you want to watch an anime because of its story this is not the anime for you. the anime is not constant and is totally random and will keep throwing random things at your face, but for some reason its good. Nothing really makes sense but for some strange reason it just works and it works very well
The music in this anime is done every well. Most if not all the music is Alternative Rock which sounds strange but heck this anime is very strange so why not just continue the randomness. The music very good and helps some scenes out. And might one of the best soundtracks and might have the most memorable songs I've ever heard in an anime.
I would say check this anime out and hopefully you enjoy this as much as I did. But I do have the feeling that some ether hate it or love it dew to all its randomness. So you be the judge but for me I totally loved it.

"That Which We Can Do"
Let me start off by saying I am a "fanboy" of Strike Witches so naturally it was perfect ^_^ . If you were a fan of the 1st Strike Witches you'll love Strike Witches 2. Its a given.
Background: The story takes place a couple months after the first season ended. And Yoshika Miyafuji has just finished middle school and is planning on taking over her family's health clinic. When just like in the original, she receives another letter from her dad! The letter has blue prints for a secret project. This time around she is a retired reserve and needs
...
Sakamoto help once again. Sakamoto her self is has problems of herself which may lead her to no longer be a Witch. She refuse to allow Yoshika to join the Strike Witch but as stubborn as Yoshika is, she decides to go anyways and convinces the Major, that she will work even harder than ever. Which starts the new story. I don't want to give to much away so ill stop at that.
The story this time around is a lot more serious then last time, you'll notice this toward the end. Its not all fun and games, the anime takes itself a bit more serious which makes a better story all around but don't worry it still has its funny moments. All the original characters are back with the add of some new ones. The navy has a bigger role which is cool to see and has a bigger influence in the story. Even though Gonzo, the original studio, is no longer apart of this and AIC Spirits is now in charge. They did a fantastic job and didn't screw it up so thank you AIC Spirits. Side note: be careful watching this around kids, AIC put in a lot more boob scenes unlike the 2 scenes in the original and dedicated a hole episode on a butt Neuroi which was hilarious, I'm not complaining about it one bit, its just a little heads up.
The intro music is just as awesome as the original and more catchy. The music score for the anime was well done and fell fit the scene that were going on. All the characters act the same which is a good thing. Francesca who likes to grab peoples boobs but none can compare with Charlotte boobs ;). Perrine being stuck up as always except in one of the episodes but still in love with the Major. Lynne and Yoshika are still the best of friends. The action in the anime is just well done and scenes look like a lot of time was spent on making them. Actions scenes look over the top and amazing to look at. This is just one of thous Anime's that's hard not to smile at when watching it. Its a good anime all the way through. The only down side I have is that there's still questions that need to be answered and I'm afraid that they will never be answered. Its been 2 years since it came out and no season 3 but we did get the Strike Witches Movie that came out last year. Lets just hope that's why they haven't came out with season 3. This one of my favorites anime of all time, and its a must watch on my list. Fingers crossed for a third season.

I never heard of a zombie that wanted to become a "penguin".
"Is This a Zombie?" or "Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?" is a rear and interesting anime at most. I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it before. Its funny and serious but too comedic at times that suck the seriousness right of it. I cant say this a is a perfect anime but it was good. If you need a anime that to pass the time this is it.
I can't see myself getting to invested in the story. "Is This a Zombie?" kept reminding me of the anime "Rosario + Vampire" so
...
if you were a fan of that you might like this. This did make me laugh at times but sometimes I felt like they were trying to hard to make "you" laugh and at times the jokes were just too flat. This happens about twice during the hole show. Somethings that kept bugging me, throughout the hole thing "Ayumu" the main character who is a zombie kept referring himself as a zombie. Whenever there was a life and death situation he would say something like "let me do this, remember i'm a zombie" or something stupid like that... It did make me laugh when "Seraphim" the "Vampire Ninja" (whatever that means) would always refer to "Ayumu" as a "maget".The story does a good job in introducing each character and where they come from. For the most part, the story jumps around until the last 5 episodes not counting episode 12. Which felt like the were done with everything and need one more episode to fill up space but for the most part it was good. There is a lot of thing that just got me confused and made me scratch my head at, like one was the hole violin and music thing to destroy the incoming monster this isn't a spoiler but it is weird.
But sometimes its better to just accept these flaws and just go with it. Well that's what I did and after I was done with the hole thing I started asking my self these weird question like why does a zombie die in the sun? But to be honest even if I got an answer I would still question it. And the amazing thing about it is that its extremely enjoyable. This anime is just for the LOL's and nothing else. The story is kinda touching but nothing too serious. It wont make you sad and cry but makes you curious makes you wonder whats going to happen next. I would have like to seen the anime to take themselves a bit more serious but its good the way it is. So if your bored and have nothing to do, do yourself a favor and watch it. Oh ya and did I mention that the main character who's a zombie that cant die and will live forever is also a tranny with magic powers. ^_^

A perfect 10 ^_^
I watched the first Baka to Test and when I heard they were making a season 2, I got excited instantly! And it was worth the wait. Right from the get-go it was great. Watching the first episode of the second season reminded me why I feel in love with this anime so much. I laughed so hard watching the first episode. This anime is not to be take literally in any way. Its a goofy, silly, with some what romance thrown in to it and it works perfectly. Heck if it ain't broken don't fix it right.
The first couple of
...
episodes, I want to say 6 or so episodes, don't take place in the high school. The first 3 episodes take place on a beach trip and the other 3-4 episodes take place in a training school. Then its back to its roots.
But the main reason to watch Baka to Test is for the characters. How each one of them interacts with one another is whats the anime a must watch. The episodes are filled with jokes that will make you laugh and even some call back referencing things that happen in the ova's or in the first season, which makes some jokes even better. I love the relation ship between Shouko and Yuji, they might even be the best couple ever... even if Yujj doesn't want to be with her.^_^ But to be truly honest I love the narration more then anything, well that is for the English dub, with his wise crack remarks and and comments make watching even better. Hes the bow on the present so to speak makes it just a tad better. All the original charters are still here, the truly lovable Hideyoshi with his devilish female body, and Akihisa the dumbest main character ever who has two beautiful female after him, the athletic and yet charming, Minami, and who could forget the pink haired, bombshell, Mizuki which Akihisa doesn't get that they love him. This time around there is more of a love story toward the end that will make you rip out you hair leaving you with no answer on who he want to be with but I hope he gets with Mizuki, shes just so cute ^_^ as of now there is no word of season 3 but I'm crossing my fingers on this one, this story is nowhere close to done
The art style from the first season is still the same. Which isn't a bad thing. The back round has a feel good feel to it where shadows are so post to lie it colored in by green, red, blue, etc with poke-a-dot pattern. When large crowds are on scene only a few of them are drawn and the rest are outlined and filled in with this pattern. Which is new idea and an easy way to cut corners and ends up being very created and you end up loving this shadow pattern.Same as in the original Baka to Test the intro song is amazing along with the video, not as good as the original, but still good. The ending song and video are well done and is worth watching every time.
I don't think I can explain how enjoyable this is to watch. Its nonstop fun from the beginning to the end after the credits are done and even then the last key after that the "Next time on..." is really funny to hear with the narrator asking a character a question and them getting it wrong. and hearing "This is will be on the test" has already became iconic to me like Funimation "You should be watching". Its a must watch to all anime lovers out there. It might look like a average high school Anime but I can tell you, you have been fooled this is a one of a kind anime that you wont get the same satisfaction in other high school anime. THIS IS NOT LIKE OTHER ANIME'S!!!

I have to say i'm not with the mass majority on this one. Everyone who recommended Ef to me said it fantastic and that the second season was better and more emotional. After watching Ef - a tale of memories I got exited and couldn't wait to watch it. But I have to say I don't feel the same about this one. I just felt let down after watching the first season. The first season made me love all the characters and made me feel thing I've never felt before. I even cried but this time around i felt nothing. I have to say I
...
just didn't feel it this time around. It was good but after watching the first season I just feel let down.
Now don't get me wrong now it was a good story. Think about this, I felt "Ef - a tale of melodies" was like "The Dark Knight Rises" its good and perfect it its own ways with miner flaws, and amazing as a stand alone but "Ef - a tale of memories" was "The Dark Night". Just mind blowing, amazing and makes it hard to live up to and that's how I feel about "Melodies" its good but not as good.
It was kinda confusing to keep up with the story. Having to go back and forth trying to tell the two stories. Yuuko and Yuu story taking place in the past while Mizuki and Shuuichi took place in the present after the events in the first season. There was a balance in stories this time around with both relationships having to deal with their own problems dealing with betrayal and death. A lot of death this time around. It was hard picking my favorite from these two stories because there stories were strong but at the same time they weren't really that good. Unlike in "Ef - a tale of memories" which mines was, and I think everyone's else's favorite was Chihiro and Renji. But this time around I'm not really sure which one l like the most.
But toward the end I felt like I was dragging my feet to watch the rest. I got bored of this anime, when I was around episode 9 or 10 I felt like giving up but I'm not that kinda person so I finished it. I was expecting to cry even more this time around but nope not even one tear. To be honest I was getting kinda annoyed by everything toward the end. But I'm glad the ending was good. There were things about the ending I kinda hated but I wont write it down because of spoilers. If you want to know message me and ill tell you what was wrong with it.

So I just fished "Ef: A Tale of Memories" in one night, dam was it good.
Let me start off by saying that the story in this anime was well done but at times a bit confusing at first to understand what was going on. When the show switches from the main two story lines (witch you'll come to know and love) witch is confusing at first. That's the only thing I really didn't like about this anime. The first 3 episodes I had no idea what was going on but it gets explained later on but still it might lose people just by that alone.
...
I liked how the 2 stories are combined together by the littlest details. like the hole sister thing with Shindou Kei and Shindou Chihiro, on how they found love and how they all went to the same school except one of them. I do have to say (without giving anything away) I did like Chihiro story a lot better with Renji. Their story was more emotional and made me cry on episode 11. I felt their story was a lot more better because she has short term memory loss then the love triangle "thing' (i really don't know what to call it) that was going on with Hiro (the guy) who's falls in love with Miyako but at the same time Kei is in love with Hiro. Throw out the hole thing I did hate the livening guts out of Kei (not going to say why but you'll see if your like me) some might like her more but not me.
I did like the different art style they choose for the anime. I liked it when in episode 1 when Hiro and Miyako are walking down the beach and you can only see the outline of them with everything around the is black while they are filled in with the back round. It's hard to explain but when you watch it you'll understand. They do this through out the hole show from time to time again and it sets a different tone.
I liked this anime more the other romantic /drama animes. I felt like at time it felt a little rushed, but what could you do bout it right. Its a must watch if you love romantic animes. This wont make you cry waterfalls like other animes out there like "Clannad" but it might make you cry if you care about the characters enough. Like I said I did cry once but I fell like the average person would have cried about 2 to 3 times, it's a really good anime so watch it. ^_^

I will say this if your planing on watching this Anime be prepare to have a box of tissues ready in hand.
But don't be discouraged by that, this is a really good and well thought out Anime. The story is strong and is a roller coaster of mixed emotions. This anime will make you laugh trust me, there where times when I had to stop watching to catch my breath and at other times I felt like crying.
I don't want to give any key points away or any spoilers so I wont. For the most part this is a extremely good anime and I
...
recommended you to watch this anime if you were wondering about it or eye balling it even if your not that into this kinda stuff. The music in this anime was amazing, the ending song "Dongo" is really good, and at times it well fits for emotional help during some scenes as well as the rest of the song list. All the Characters are lovable in their own way, Some being the typical love interest to the insanely talented characters to the amazingly over the top stupid best friend. Each character gets their own set of episodes with the main character. With each female character being a perfect match with the main character. I wont tell you who he chooses but I think its pretty obvious.
I enjoyed this Anime a little bit to much I think but in a good way. It well done and it was executed perfectly and makes you wonder whats going to happen next at every corner. Once you start your forced to watch the rest. When I started watching I had to watch all of them I couldn't stop and if I did, I was just wondering what was going to happen next.
Overall it was great and MUST WATCH to all who love anime.

I started watching this anime manly do to the fact that I was bored and I'm glad I was, So this anime is all about ghost if you couldn't tell by the name but its not the same as other anime's out there about ghost. Its main focus is spirits, religion, and Japanese history folk tale. this sounds a bit weird but they pull it off in such a way that its great. The story is kinda slow in the first episode but makes you want more and I must say the last three cases (last 9 episode or so) are griping and a must
...
watch, I'm not saying don't watch the other episodes, you must watch the other episodes because the grow on you in a way that you fell for each person and care for one another and its important to the main characters and story line . If you skip them you wont feel as much for the characters.
Over all its a much watch if you haven't seen it already. Yes it is a old anime but it still stands strong.
The only problem i have with this anime is that they never tell you what happens to the characters, all I wanted to see was a love relationship to start in the end even if it was just a still photo of 2 characters of the kissing or just holding hands. Other then that its a great anime.
