This anime was very outstanding because of it's main protagonist Kyouko. I feel like she wraps up the story quite nicely and it's really enjoyable to have a protagonist who doesn't cry when she falls but instead gets right back up.
Also, this anime is very realistic in the sense that Kyouko doesn't always win and that she has to work hard to have a career in showbiz. Despite the constant lingering of romance, it only reaches it's climax at the end so I suggest you should watch the show for comedy rather than romance.

Unlike the first season, this season did not meet my expectations at all.
While the first season had an air of mystery and the thriller aspect ensured you stayed on your toes. This season made the anime seem like it belongs in a music video about losing the girl you love. All the action was replaced with montages and sappy music in the background. It focused less on Kaneki and more on the CCG's search for him.

After reading the synopsis, you're most likely to think that this will be another cliche riddled, bishounen filled, Ouran wannabe. But it's so much more.
I'm not going to lie and make this seem like it's the most original anime out there but there truly is something about this anime that makes you go back for a re-watch. The sexual innuendos mixed with the comedic scenarios and well balanced characters makes this anime extremely enjoyable. |
