After Chapter 14 the story shifts, bringing in more drama and suspense. At this point the character growth and story progression begins to slow down. The main focus is rebuilding the manga to shift the story from the initial outbreak to finding Hanazono, along with the two groups fighting for power. The blood and gore gets toned down a bit, to really focus redirecting the story.
This is still worth the read even with this shift in the story.

A mysterious outbreak that turns love into bloodlust that begins to run rampant. Kamishiro (MC) has a vivid hallucination of stabbing his childhood friend, Hanazono ... through the throat with an umbrella. Without a clear understanding of what this bloodlust and struggling to control it, the real story and mystery begins.

Kamishiro is nicely developed over the 14 chapters that is currently published. He learns how to control and manifest his power for the "greater good". After the massacre at his school, Hanazono goes missing and now he is tracking down any information he can to find her.

The artwork is fantastic, it is nicely detailed, bloody and on point. I enjoyed reading this to the point that I couldn't stop until there was nothing left. If you enjoy a violent and gory manga, this one needs to be on your list. It is highly underappreciated and will probably go unrecognized but it is well worth your time to read.

Honestly, this manga had such great potential and once the second arc kicked off, no clue what had happened, what is going on and seeing all this great start go right downhill. Right now with the way the story development stands, if it continues on like this I will drop it.

This OVA is no more than a preview as listed in the synopsis. But it took just an OVA to get me interested in the manga until an anime is released (supposedly 2018?).
After reading the manga the OVA really highlights the fight scenes in the manga. The story is about 17 (or 15 I don't remember) year old Baki and his fight to become the strongest fighter and beat his dad in a fight. When fighting there are no rules; anything and everything is fair game.
The artwork from this preview seems similar to Drifters (aired Fall 2016). But that is about as ... much as you can get from this short clip.

Overall, this is a short video that highlights the major fights of the manga. There is not much enjoyment to get from it, but it did get me interested in the manga itself. Because of this OVA, I am looking forward to when an actual anime gets released.

When I watched the preview for this show I had high expectations for a great romcom. The first episode really pulled me in. I was amazed with the humor and pulling in ideas from other shows. I thought this would be one of the greatest shows of the season.
However that is where it ended. Instead I got a half assed show with boring, lame characters that never got developed. Sadly the only character that got developed was Guri.
The rest of them I could care less about. Renai Boukun went downhill fast after the first episode. With nothing but poorly executed episodes trying to ... push some bull shit of friendship, finding yourself, etc.
This show slowly became a pain to watch. I dreaded having to watch the new episode since I knew it would only let me down.
I will say that it did add a new twist to the romcom. I just wish it was done better.

Overall, I did not enjoy the show and I would not recommend it to others.

Okay so I am writing this while I let the last episode load up. Seiren is one of those hidden gems in the romance genre. With a low score of 6.33 (20170619), my best guess is that it did not live up to anyone's expectations. However, this is my first time watching a show where the MC develops relationships with 3 different female characters (not a harem) that are 4 episodes each. To summarize it up the MC develops a relationship with a female character to push, encourage and motivate them to better themselves. While the two start off as strangers, the relationship builds and ... the emotions of love do as well.
The greatest strength of Seiren is the development of the female characters. While they are not perfect, the MC helps them strengthen their weaknesses and find their path in life. While the time with each female protagonist is short, Seiren makes good use of that time to develop them.
Really my only issue with this show is the MC. The dude is a giant cuck. I am not saying that the MC needs to be all that is man. His lack of development is what brings this show down. I would have liked to seen a more balanced MC. This is the kind of guy that is too good, to the point where it is a fault.
While the pure romance genre typically is not something I enjoy, this is one I would highly recommend to others.

Within the first episode this show seemed to have a lot of potential. This show turned out to be a waste. I had dropped it for 6 months because of how much of a disappointment it turned out to be. There are several issues, first one being the lack of character development. I had zero vested interest in any of the characters. Why? Because there was no development. It was only after they died, there was maybe 5 minutes showing their story. In all honesty, that was my biggest issue with this show . It is a 12 episode show that introduces too many characters ... without time to build up each one.
Second issue that really got to me was the lack of care in the animation. The biggest one is when Swim-Swim is searching for Cranberry. Cranberry pokes out from behind the trees as if the show was a comedy.
And lastly, the main character. The entire show, 99.99% of it all she does is cry and say "stop fighting". She was developed as if she was suppose to be the savior, but spends the entire show doing absolutely nothing.

The one good thing I will give this show is the violence and gore. But at the same time the deaths are very anticlimactic.
Would I recommend this to anyone? No. It would not even cross my mind. However if you have spare time and NOTHING else to watch, then I guess go to this.

After watching a few hentai this will be my first review for one. I am not writing this saying OMG MUST WATCH. Actually quite the opposite. This is by far one of the shittiest ones I have ever watched. With the whole rape thing set aside, since it is common in hentai; that or incest. This one had me questioning what is mentally wrong with who ever wrote it. Heads up there are spoilers. I can get over the rape and having the female characters fisted, etc. What did me in was at the end where the MC's friend gets amputated and killed. What in ... the hell was up with that. Also one other thing with the MC ends up having sex with a kid (for those lolicons), this hentai crossed several lines that didn't need to be crossed to begin with.
Even with all of that set aside there is no enjoyment to this hentai. I wouldn't even recommend it for desperate spank bank material.
If you like the whole rape, torture, anal, bdsm, watch Euphoria. That one is 1000 times better and much more enjoyable.

Rosario to Vampire, I watched it because I was stuck inbetween shows and it was on Netflix. God, I made a horrible mistake. This show is cliche to the point where it is a fault. Second season is even worse.

Story: A high school is built for monsters to help them get an education and integrate into human society. MC is the only human in a monster school (like OMG what are the odds) and the story follows him trying his best to fly under the radar even though all he does is attract attention to himself.

Characters: Awful. God awful. No. No. No. No. ... No. The fact that I endured two seasons of this is amazing. There is no development. This show is so cliche it is shitty. Every time the rosary comes off, Moka's alter ego comes out and some fight scene happens. Every episode this happens. EVERY EPISODE THIS HAPPENS. And of course during every fight scene, Tsukune's harem looses their clothes.

Overall: Unless you're into cliche harems that attempt to be funny but fail, don't bother. Just watch Highschool DXD and you'll be better off with that.

My Little Monster is not the typical high school romance anime. From the first episode it is unconventional but that is what makes it great.

Story: Shizuku, cold, indifferent and intelligent. Haru, childish, violent and spontanious. These two very different characters first encounter leads to Haru to confess his feelings for her. The story progresses as the two characters slowly become friends and the trials that face them in their journey.

Art/Sound: In all honesty, I am going to quit typing this block unless something really sticks out. So far this anime has nothing special about it when it comes to artwork or sound.

Characters: Okay, ... here is where the fun begins. With the two characters, my first thought it that it will be boring as hell. You have an emotionless character and one that is eccentric. I mean how the hell do you plan to develop them, how will they grow? And you know what, this studio accomplished that. They went with a cliche story but unconventional characters. Each episode is unique. Both of the characters are funny in their own way. And there are some episodes where I am laughing to the point where I am about to cry.

Enjoyment/Overall: This here is a unique romcom. Highly unconventional. Completely different than others. The only thing I did not like about it, is the back and forth between them and their feelings for each other. It was hella annoying at times. But besides that, the characters are amazing. The show is hilarious and it is worth watching.

Ever watch a show where the artwork just captivates you within minutes? Plastic Memories has so much more to it than just artwork though. The story, the characters and of course a bad case of the feels. Plastic Memories is extremely well done, but there is no happy ending.

Story: MC joins a company that retrieves AI; after about 9 years they have to be taken and shut down or risk going rouge. The partners for the teams are one human and one AI. As the anime progress, the two characters begin to bond and grow despite all of the obstacles they face.

Art/Sound: Defiantly not ... slacking here, the studio took their time to uniquely draw out every scene. The animation style is very good and different. That is one of the first things that drew my attention to this show. Also the sound track for this anime fits perfectly with every scene.

Characters: Besides the story, this is the focus of the show. The characters are extremely well done, very human like and it is not a cliche stereotypes. Watch this anime and you will see how they slowly begin to grow.

Enjoyment/Overall: Here is my complaint, I did not enjoy this show. Not because it was terrible or poorly done; but because there would be no happy ending. After you see the characters grow so much and then how it ends, is just terrible but I knew it was coming from episode 1. It is an amazing show, this is one that needs to be watched like Your Lie in April.

If you have seen the first season of this, it was really over the top, funny and enjoyable show. Now this OVA is just another episode of their adventures.

In this OVA, Kazuma puts on a magical choker that can only be taken off by fulfilling his wish, but it will continue to tighten until it strangles him if he doesn't get his wish.

Of course with this show, you know nothing goes as planned. So Aqua, Darkness, Wiz, and Megumi are going out of their way to help fulfill his wish. Talk about the most ridiculous, hilarious adventure to help Kazuma get his wish. ...

This OVA is a great continuation to the show. While watching this, I didn't think I could laugh any harder. Watch the first season, then watch this. I promise you won't regret it.
