(I just realized something) "yuri goggles", hmm? Have you checked out Yuyushiki? I think you'd have a field day with that one...

Cute. I've saved that one off :)

(Yeah, I occasionally wanted to whack Youko over the head, Aya was so painfully obvious)

Foo. If you say that, and you gave Sasameki Koto anime a 9, then you need to read the manga, if only for closure (though it IS a good read as well).

(snoop, snoop, snoop) ah, I see Hidamari Sketch is on your "watch" list. Be warned, Sae and Hiro are a couple in all but name, and it's a secret to NO ONE in the story except Sae and Hiro, both of whom will admit (under pressure) that they'll never be separated but neither of whom are ready to say Those Words to each other yet.

Well, the "cute factor" is very strong, but Kin'iro Mosaic it is not. The "cuteness" is not forced (which, much as I liked it, was a weakness of Kin'iro Mosaic, for instance), but natural.

Well, it's a little embarrassing, but hands down my favorite this season is Non Non Biyori. No, NOT for THAT reason. I love the setting, reminds me in a lot of ways of where I grew up (yes, the grade-school I went to was closed a few years later for lack of kids, and my part time jobs were things like collecting chicken eggs and mucking horse stalls)- the art is really nice and some of the landscapes are gorgeous. Also, I love the characters' personalities. And the author seems to understand what he (or she) is writing about and teases out some excellent humor using this mix in a way that often means something to me.

Close behind is Gingitsune - I always appreciate a story that makes 'realistic' use of the spiritual aspects of a culture. Though I am certainly no expert on Shinto, Gingitsune seems spot on to me in this regard.

Close behind that, Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai has my attention, and is the surprise for me this season as from the description I didn't think I would like it. However, while the main story seems fine, as the story develops I'm seeing a very strong subplot developed regarding the relationship between humans and the automatons and I'm wondering if in the end it will be the main point of the story. Also, I've taken a liking to the two main characters (Raishin and Yaya).

Yeah, I was finished with WR as soon as I realized the horses were being used to strip the girls in the first episode.

I was tentatively hopeful for Strike the Blood, but as time has gone on it has become obvious the guy is hopelessly clueless, the girls tend towards violent tsundere, and he'll possibly collect a new one every other episode. I may still finish it as it doesn't look like it will get silly (like WR).

Not that I'm adverse to "attractive, young girls", 2D or otherwise, but I would like for there to be a decent story ;)

Walkure Romanze - you made it much further than I did, as I barely made it through the first episode :)

What made you drop Strike the Blood? (I haven't entirely made up my mind on it either, I admit).

Oh, the cards on your profile are cool!
