ok. lets say nothing changed, but can you say A-1 did the right approach ?
let me give you an example , because magi was a very good source material as a manga and they rushed 110+ chapters in 25 episodes so there is actually a lot of things that could have been included, well lets just talk about last 2 episodes.

ok, for me this is a matter of maturity of story .

you see when you take huge preparation to defend sindria from terrifying al-shermen and main 3 bad guys fight against 8 genarals + 2 vessel user and the fight lasts only for 4 minutes ...it kind of blows...

but when you consider, aladin and his fellow companions barely survive the zagan labyrinth and suddenly they face 3 of al-shermen on their own and when all hope is lost , the 3 generals approach to defend them ....it just feels more epic that way.

so when a non reader sees the anime he might actually think thats far the mangakas ability goes and he might feel the ending was not just balanced enough or just did not showed what it promised in the beginning ....

can you say that did justice to the mangaka?

you checked the recent manga sales record? magi is on 2nd place right after one piece.even after the anime was disaster compared to the manga...i wish it had a remake so that they could somehow make the zagan arc right.. just cant stand what the anime did to alibaba, having him black djinn equip (!! ) and al shermens poor attack on sindria !!...alas the zagan arc could have been handled rightly !...they also made some important character look very weak...now i just tell every one to read from chapter 1 to enjoy the full epicness of magi ...

They messed with Renton and Eureka's relationship and the show has no interesting characters and feels like any other mech show. If the show was not related to Eureka Seven it would be fine but since it is they are expected to build upon the last series not just say "Oh hey this is Renton and Eureka's son" Also they don't show any one from the previous series at all until episode 12 or so and just as fast as the character is re introduced the character is gone within 6 minutes. It only angers me due to how much I liked the orignal Eureka Seven and how this show is nothing like the original.

No, it is the worst thing they could have possibly done to the series. It is the most disappointing anime I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. If you liked the original DO NOT watch this sequel.
