You may have to read a few chapters to begin to 'get' this manga, and realize it is not just strange, but also wondrous, in a dreamy laid back yet profoundly thought provoking way. Each chapter a story. Most of them with an original and/or surprising plot. A true hidden gem.
I am male, and I found that of no hindrance to enjoying this manga. I actually felt the the story talking to my 'inner male'.
Also worth noting; I always preferred stories that build momentum somewhat slowly (in their own pace), rather than going for 'instant gratification'. If you enjoy the latter more, you should try
