Yeah, TM 8.0 is pretty good, it had me glued to the screen, it's quite an emotional show and by the end episodes I was crying my eyes out. It's not like it was a completely unhappy ending but sad enough for me. Last time I cried at anime, was probably watching Grave of the Fireflies, years and years ago.
I'm looking forward to Burton's Alice movie! Do they say it's crappy? I haven't heard anything or read any reviews of it... His movies always look great, no matter what, so at least there is that.
I love makeup :D I'm always so happy visiting makeup counters LOL (but, jeebus, some of that stuff is expensive!) I feel your pain, sister! Getting up early and trying to do a good job with your makeup is not easy. Especially when you've just gotten the extra 5 minutes of sleep and now you're almost running late! I love the eyeliner look but if you put it on all wonky, it's not gonna be any good (don't you just hate having to take off makeup when you messed up at the very last part? Like, you've put your foundation on, the eyeshadow and then you ruin it with a crusty eyeliner! Eugh, I'd just want to punch something!) So, I gave up putting on eyeliner if I don't have time. Instead, I just use black eyeshadow with a tiny, stiff brush and draw a line. Even if you go slightly wrong, it's easy to cover the mistake up, you can either smudge it for that kind of soft line look, or quickly wipe it off to redraw - it's not messy or difficult like it would be with a liner pencil or a liquid eyeliner. At worse, you could always cover the whole eyelid with the black and leave it at that. I hate having no makeup on, it makes me look so pale! Lipstick is kind of, whatever, but I gotta do my eyes! At the very least, I'd put mascara on, just pile it on :D Most of the time, however, I use the eyeshadow liner trick but you do need a good brush. My boy got me a new set of 25 makeup brushes for Christmas, I don't even know what some of them do LOL I use the biggest one to get rid of any loose eyeshadow or face powder, a medium one for the brow highlight, a smaller one for applying eyelid colour and then the small stiff one for drawing a line. The rest are beyond me :D But, damn, I look a pro when I unwrap the brushes from their leather pouch LOL One of these days, probably during a weekend, I'll sit down and try them all out. I always go here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/m_a_c/ for inspiration. Mac makes such awesome colours but so expensive :( I can't justify spending that much on a single colour, I'm so cheap, hahaha. Have you tried looking for video tutorials on how to put makeup on?
There is some seriously strange stuff happening with me. Occasionally, I'll notice some movement out of the corner of my eye but there never is anything/anybody there! It always happens at home and should I be alone when it happens, the first thing that pops into my mind is ghosts! Then, I talk myself out of the idea, of course, being the rational/logical person that I am (now, stop laughing!), but I still get creeped out. Is it just that I need glasses or something? I can't imagine what could be causing that, and it's always, always in my peripheral vision, you know, kind of like as if you just caught an end of something moving past you. Eeeek. Do I freak out too easily? Moooooommy.... TT____TT

yeah! I've only applied to 3 schools. And guesssss whatt?!?! I just got conditional acceptance into my top school! YAH! That makes me happy :D But i'm not full-on hardcore celebrating yet because it's only conditional so if my grades drop, I can say bye bye to my acceptance. :'( I was also offered an entrance scholarship but, again, no time for celebration until my grades are finalized. =(
arghblaheihfp. I really need to get a job. Especially since (a) i'm completely broke and (b) my spring break is coming up soon and I should probably do something IRL rather then coop up in my room being a complete anime/manga nerd. xB
Nah, i've been having a real hard time finding good stuff now a days. I was never really good with anime recommendations, but even now i'm having difficulty finding interest in the manga i'm reading. You?

Aw shucks, and for a second I thought I was talking to a true superhero. Mannn, way to ruin a young girl's dream. Oh jeeze, that reminds me. I really need to get a job. This whole procrastinating to send out my resume thing isn't really bringing the much needed income in. I've been broke ever since Christmas, when I dipped into my savings to buy my silly family and friends nice presents. :'(

Nah, I haven't really been watching anything. I've been surprisingly busy these past few weeks. My hometown was holding the Winter Olympics so i've been spending pretty much all my free time partying with my Canadian spirit.
But how 'bout you? Find anything amazing enough to pull you away from your busy busy schedule ;)

Ah~ I get all the busy stuffs going on. Back then when i had school all the projects and assignments were crazy! They pile up like nobody's business and deadlines were all soooooo close! I thought I'd collapse back then, but luckily for me right now school's out and i'm probably going to work for the time being so I'm lucky i guess xD

I hadn't been watching anime lately, (probably becos they take up 30mins an episode), i'm only watching KHR atm so i don't really have something to recommend... Gomen ne!

Haha, ah yes saving the world is a tough old job, more power to you. XDD Eeh, when you have all sorts of school assignments and a part time job it's like impossible to do anything fun or even just relax. During my last year of secondary school, it was almost always school monday to friday and work at the weekends. I just get a shudder thinking about it. So I feel you pain. ^_^ What type of part time job do you have?

Ok I definatley recommend Legend of the Galactic Heroes, its really long but it freaking amazing, it's like one of the best anime ever!! Oh and Durarara is pretty good to, it's still airing.

hmms though.. I am keeping up with Bakemonogatari, Durarara!!, Sora no Woto, and Kimi ni Todoke mostly. Those are what I'd recommend. I plan on marathoning the Aria series but it's so hard to find torrents
