tru that's how it usually ends up for me. i've enjoyed most slice of life/comedies cuz they're comfy and at the worst you'll just something that's boring and I guess that's better than a trainwreck
yea I feel u its just that the way how a1 fucked up erased is hilarious but i don't think the source material is much better so I guess I shouldn't be surprised
and yeah agreed about current airing anime. It's usually worth finding that one really good show but u gotta wade through a bunch other shit just to find it. I'll probably just focus on my backlog this season tbh

u should finish erased though my guy that show was also a train wreck that got worse each episode (I think it was around episode 6 is when it got worse tho)
i may check sidonia if thats the case but i already have a huge backlog lol. still though, cgi can be extremely off-putting even if the story is good like with berserk cuz the cgi is only slightly better than ajin but im still not gonna watch it lol
but yeah ajin sucks so far i'd be more okay with cgi if the characters actually looked like people (maybe something like aku no hana??) but nah they decided to put some dude with an unnatural and stupid haircut in it. im prob gonna watch one more episode just to see if i can justify a low score if it has shitty writing.
