In my opinion Barakamon is the epitome of slice of life. No drama, no villains, no flashy powers, just a depiction of how interesting daily life can be.

This series truly felt like a breath of fresh air. Everything from the story, the characters and the art is so peaceful yet fun. I really admire the power barakamon has to make you feel immersed into the island where everything takes place.

I wish i could put into words how much i loved Barakamon, but as i found within this show that there's so much beauty in simplicity i'll just say that barakamon earned a special ... place in my heart.
