I'm not one for long lengthily reviews, so I'll be brief. The complexity of the storyline weaved in Naruto Shippuden is a great advancement in depth and seriousness. A change reflective of the growth in the characters as well as the viewing audience. Darker, more extensive backstories are revealed with many a plot twist in addition to breath-taking advancements from the prequel. Once you begin watching this (assuming you've watched and enjoyed the first) you'll be engrossed.
