~ So I was first introduced to anime/manga in 8th grade from a friend of mine. I started out reading Fruit Basket, Rurouni Kenshin and Inuyasha. Since then I've never looked back XD (this short list of course excludes yugioh and pokemon) later I began sneaking out and walking to the local block buster to buy the latest Shonen jump each month. I really dont remember How I afforded this since I didnt grow up with an allowance. Probably with past birthday money I saved lol.
I believe the series that was running in JUMP at that time from memory were: Gintama, shaman king, death note, angel sanctuary, yu yu Hakusho, vampire knight, One Piece, Naruto and ..... Well, thats as far as i can remember. I'm sure there were others that im leaving out and could look it up online but laziness prevails here ;p

It was the last year of High school where thanks to a good friend of mine who introduced me to my first anime convention - Sakura Con!! In total i have gone to 4 different conventions - Sakuracon, Kumori con, Dragon Con and Anime expo. Needless to say, this has drained me of most of my funds BUT it was totally worth it! Its definitely an experience one should have in their life time.
