I don't like 1-10 scores. Instead I have four grades "Great", "OK", "Meh", and "Bad", which I arbitrarily decided correspond to 10, 7, 4, and 1 respectively. I pick these based purely on how I feel towards a show. So don't get triggered by some show you like getting a 1, k?

I've been watching anime since around 2004, and tracking it using AnimeNewsNetwork, and only recently made the jump over to MAL, so some of the stats will look strange.

I like crazy unique world building, strong endings, solid execution, tragic characters, and interesting ideas. Comedy, waifus, romance, sports, moe, slice of life, and high schools generally don't do anything for me, though there are exceptions to any rule.
