The brotherhood anime is the readaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist following the manga's storyline.

The story is about Edward and Alphonse, who tried to revive their mother to no avail, which cost Alphonse his body, and Edward his arm and leg to fix Alphonse's soul onto a suit of armor, following their journey to find a philospher's stone that may get back their bodies. The story introduces Homunculi too who happen to be immortal beings that are the main antagonists of the series. Plot sounds simple on paper but it's an intriguing concept if adapted well.

I think this is the only food wars season to actually have a meaning. At first, Soma is shown proving he is worthy to challenge an elite ten to a shokugeki. That arc was cool. The real amazement begins when the story goes to a darker side as Erina's father becomes the new director of Totsuki and forces new rules on the academy and forces all clubs to shut down. The clubs decide to propose shokugekis to prevent their clubs from shutting down, but the shokugeki judges were part of the plan, so they always let the contestants lose. Soma has to find a read more

The plot behind the movie is actually simple, but it implies many psychological terms, even I, who am not a big fan of psychology, find intriguing. The story continues with the murders happening in the first half of murder speculation, so we get to see the real culprit behind them, who had fooled Shiki into thinking that she was the one behind those murders. I won't go into more details to avoid spoilers.
