I must say, the second season of this show truly doesnt live up to the first in these 4 first episodes.
What made season 1 great in my opinion, was the Naofumi's revenge arc and him being an asshole to those who wronged him. It made the show interesting that people was hunting him anywhere he went etc.
In this season, everyone is already friends and everything that made s1 appealing is now gone. They have added more annoying side characters and its focusing too much on their problems. I mean, I COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT THESE NEW SIDE CHARACTERS! And not to spoil anything in the

The show seems to have a huge budget, the animation and action scenes are really detailed and astonishing. Sound effects and all that are also good. However. The story this far couldnt be any less uninteresting, and to put the cherry on top of the show, the characters who are portrayed as the main characters, are so bland, that i couldnt care less about their outcomes.. They all seem like a bunch of side-characters in my opinion. I might sound a bit harsh in this review, but man, the only thing the show got, is their piece of art, animation.

After watching 4 episodes of this show, I got to say that the story and character so far has been really well. However, the way they use that ultra cheap 3D animation on some enemies, just ruins it all... i find it hard to look away when it all looks so goofy at times. I understand that it might be to much work painting it all, if you dont have the budget for it, but in my opinion, i would rather see some less detailed monster, than a horrific attempt on a 3D monster in a world where everything else is painted.. hopefully there wont
