Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (4/12 eps)
I started this anime out LOVING it, I really enjoy cute animes and this one seemed really good. The premise starts out a little sad but it starts picking up and becoming something cute and enjoyable.

Then it hits episode 3 and we get a new character in the mix.

He's explained as someone who's usually seen glaring at children, so I was wondering if it was another instance of someone disliking children, which is fine! I don't like children myself so I get it. However, we find out later, that's not the case.

He's a pedophile, played for a joke. He stalks children because they're ...

The Big O (Anime) add
Big O is genuinely one of my favorite anime of all time. It's an enjoyable noir mystery with mechs and compelling characters that make the entire thing feel solid and well thought out.

The animation is very of-the-time but clean and nice to look at (especially in the blu-ray release, which I absolutely bought the moment that I could). The art style is more on the simple side for the characters themselves, but really shines when it comes to the mechs like Big O itself.

Classicaloids is, in short, about the clones? Reborn versions? Of classical composers like Mozart, Chopin, Schubert, ect. Living in the modern era with their creators(?) daughter in a huge mansion. They are all bubbly, fun, colorful, and completely different from one another, finding their happiness in daily life while also occasionally turning into classical music-themed magical girls and boys.

It's not a great anime, it's not even in my top ...

Okay, I didn't want to hate this anime. I gave it a solid shot, thinking the premise was interesting and I wanted to know more about our awful, horrible, boring protagonist. In the beginning, I enjoyed it and thought it was decent! I wanted to know who the King was, so I continued watching.

Episode 5 or 6 is when it started going downhill on my end. Oh, but I didn't stop there. I thought maybe, hey! There is this ONE interesting character and I want to know how they fight this new issue (the "King reveal", for those who know)!

And then nothing gets accomplished, everyone ...
