Unnamed Memory in itself is quite the fascinating story. The characters are well written, the romance is sweet with a little bit of spice, and you really get attached to the characters. That is hard about this anime adaptation is that it covers 3 whole volumes of the Light Novel in 12 episodes. Essentially half of the entire story. The anime, while it doesn’t stray from the source material, leaves out a lot of the story and acts as more of an executive summary of the story. As we know, anime adaptations are often done in order to drive sales of the LN or Manga ...

I've been on a huge romance anime binge recently. While "The Dreaming Boy is a Realist" doesn’t stack up to "Dangers in My Heart" or even "Hokkaido Gals," I quite enjoyed this one.

The story, while not entirely unique, brings a refreshing twist to the genre. It has its predictable moments, but if you love this setup as much as I do, you'll still find it engaging. ***WARNING EXCESSIVE ISAKI PRAISE AS BEST GIRL AHEAD***

Insomniacs After School completely took me by surprise. Maybe it was because I could easily relate to the characters, but above all else the thing or rather person that made this anime worthwhile for me is Magari Isaki.

Everything about Isaki is addicting to me. Her whole personality, character, mannerisms, laugh, smile, eyes are made from pure sugar mixed with drugs. From the first time she was shown on screen to the ending credits I couldn't take my eyes off of her for fear that I might miss one of her cute poses, faces, looks, laughs, and anything else. ...

Insomniacs After School draws you in with main female lead Magari’s cute bubbly personality and infectious kindness. For me, the Manga is exceptional up to about chapter 55. Past this point, Insomniacs After School struggles to show any sort of progression for our star-crossed lovers. The few romantic scenes past chapter 55 are short and don’t hit as deeply as they did initially.

The ending really disappointed me as it seems like the author simply ran out of steam or motivation. There’s no real closure. The ending isn’t happy or sad, just is extremely lacking in everything that made me love the series. It seems ...
