Just read your Gurashi review and I'm curious, are you reviewing the show solely on the spectacle it was able to encapsulate or do you truly believe that the characters, story and art (sound is subjective not including that) was actually perfect? I mean when I analyze the show I find major faults in all of them.
Characters: no dimension to their personality and 0 psychoanalysis
Story: goes nowhere both as a character driven and plot driven narrative. And the show isn't conceptual or avant garde so there's no excuse for it.
Art: the CGI zombies are jarring and there are often inconsistent character models. They have cool transitions from cute to dark but those issues are never fixed.

Again not here to scrutinize but just curious as to if you acknowledge these issues or if it never registered with you until I mentioned them.

Thanks! I actually just wrote it in the spur of the moment. You're the first person to give feedback so that means a good amount to me. I didn't know if people actually read them seriously. In the future I'll try to make my reviews a little more organized. (And I do want to point out that I said I wasn't going to go too in depth in that review too! :P).
But really, thanks for reading my review and the feedback!

I think you need to add Joss Whedon to that Tarantino/Lee... alliance of yours. =)

If you're coming here to bitch about my grammar in my latest review (Cowboy Bebop), I want to apologize. I wrote that review (and this comment) while half awake and most likely delusional.

Your Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood review was an interesting read over my evening tea. It most definitely re-enforces your enthusiastic opinions regarding Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. I detect the essence of an attempt to prove someone wrong regarding this anime using overwhelming praise; perhaps a blonde haired guy with a book in his face offended you in some manner? In regards to sitting around, I recall a most humorous scene where Edward Elric was attempting to sit around and "do nothing" by eating a Sandwich and Winry enters the room and begins to undress in front of him to Edward's great shock. Thank you for the review and this concludes the Phantomhive response.

Awesome FMA Brotherhood review. That show is with out a doubt a masterpiece. Well written, has a great voice cast, and solid characters.

Great FMA Brotherhood review! I agree, it is a masterpiece that every anime fan deserves to watch. I think the best thing about it is the characters. They were all relatable and fun to watch. They were all human and unique in their own little way. Overall, great review man! <3
