Well, I've recently regained the drive to actually watch anime, for a while I just wasn't feeling it, same with manga. After a few job interviews, hanging out with friends, and a little exploring the island I live on by travelling, I kind of got past the whole thing. Now I'm feeling pretty good about life, and I'm actually finding the motivation to pursue my dreams these days. So don't worry about it, maybe all you really need is just to get exams out of the way.

I know how it is, I'm job hunting currently, so even I don't watch anime as much, even my manga reading has slowed down. xD How's life been on your side?

Hey man, what's up?

It's been a year since I joined MAL! Back then, we were still going to class every saturday morning. Nostalgic, is it? I'm glad we got over it and now have more free time but still, I miss those days. Much epicness was present over the course of that year. The epilogue is tentatively set exactly 1 year after it ended. In the meantime, how are things going, anime-wise?

Wow, 2 months! That's a lot!
Toradora is great, even that OVA xD My favorite character is definitely Taiga, I can relate so much to her because we are both super short (and a little aggresive :P) Ami is great too, but I don't like Minori too much. In the end, all things that she did just seemed a little senseless to me. She's the funnier character tho :)

Hmmm... what about Danganronpa? It's just starting and so far it's my favorite anime of the season (although this isn't the best season for anime :/ ) but it's gore and a little psychological.
A good choice would be K-On!, it's not the best anime but is really funny and the music is good too!

PS: Already answered your PM :)

How are things going for you?
I've been rather lazy and tired a lot recently.
I see you are currently watching Toradora. What do you think of it?
And oh, Shingeki no Kyojin...have you been enjoying that?

I'm a senior and next year I'm gonna spend my summer at an academy, which are schools that prepare you for your entrance exam. My exam is on April so I'll have to spend at least 6 hours per day on the academy, plus the homeworks, my job and my preparation for my english certificate. So practically, no summer vacation for me :(

Call you crazy? I do the exact same thing lol. I can't even count how many times I've heard the Digimon soundtrack or the Angel Beats soundtrack and just... listen. It's like it can transport you to that scene. Art may not be important for me, but music is. The music complements with the story, if the music is not right, then the scene won't feel right either. This may sound weird, but 85% of the music on my iPod are from anime soundtracks lol

4 months of vacation?! Lucky you! I won't have summer vacations anymore :(

Shiki's Mystic Eyes are awesome. Just saw them and it gave me goosebumps lol
It's true that art has a huge impact, but I seriously don't care too much about it. I mean, I like it when the art is better, but if it's not, it's ok. What I enjoy the most in anime are the stories, art is secondary for me :)

One Piece? Well, if you can take the first 100 boring episodes, you'll be fine. Then I guess you won't be watching Toradora at least for a few years lol

I like Clannad eyes too. But my favorite eyes (and also the ones I hate the most) are the ones from Amnesia. Those were some weird eyes, but I just can't help to like them lol
bubblesoda May 17, 2013 9:16 PM
Yeah, actually Sakurasou's synopsis reminded me a lot of Toradora because, in a certain way, Taiga can't take care of herself either and that's were Ryuuji comes.

Well, Toradora's ending is pretty obvious but you know what they say, what matters is not the destination but the journey. And Toradora's journey is amazing. To be honest, I don't like too much the slice of life or even rom-coms because they are so similar that I feel that I've already watched it, but Toradora is... different. Once you watch it, you'll understand what I'm trying to say lol

Well, maybe that's because japanese people are really not that tall, so they try to put it different in anime (kinda the same thing that happens with the eyes, I really doubt there are japanese people with such big round eyes lol)
bubblesoda May 14, 2013 12:33 PM
Hahaha you say there are actually people that hate Toradora? Omg, never met anyone like that lol

I saw it last year for my summer vacation. I was just starting to watch anime and a bunch of my friends told me it was one of the best rom-com so I decided to give it a try.

Toradora is basically the every-day life of Ryuuji and Taiga. They didn't know each other until one day she bumps against him (she was so small that Ryuuji didn't saw her coming lol) and she beats Ryuuji. Later they became... ¿friends?. Well, they have a weird relationship: Ryuuji likes Taiga's best friend and Taiga likes Ryuuji's best friend, so they make a pact and start helping each other.

Tbh, Toradora is one of my favorite anime and could easily be one of the best romance anime ever. Plus, I really relate to Taiga because we have the same height lol
Give it a try, you won't regret it :)
bubblesoda May 12, 2013 11:29 AM
It sounds interesting, it somehows reminds me of Toradora when you said that the girl can't take care of herself lol
Definitely going on my ptw list.

For now I'll just finish Shirokuma Cafe and then probably Sakurasou. I've had enough with fast-paced, complicated animes lol
bubblesoda May 11, 2013 10:49 AM
She dropped Angel Beats? :( It's so sad to hear people dropping such a good series. Specially when they're so close to finish it!

Haha if it's a comedy then it's ok. What is it about?
bubblesoda May 8, 2013 8:23 PM
Poppo was so cute! He was the glue of the others, without him they couldn't have re-bonded. I found it pretty funny that he was the smallest one and all those years later, he was the biggest one lol
I absolutely loved that ending. I'm so recommending AnoHana to all of my friends, they all love sad animes xD

Buaaaaaah I don't know. Lately I haven't felt like watching anime, probably I've watched too many that I need to take a little break. I just want to watch something relaxing, that doesn't involve a lot of thinking. Probably that's the reason I've picked up Shirokuma Cafe. I swear that is the most stupid anime ever, but it's just so effortless and funny and easy (you can understand what they say even without the subs lol)
bubblesoda May 7, 2013 8:06 PM
Hahaha Yukiatsu! I kinda liked him, the one I didn't like was her friend Tsuruko. She was so annoying lol
But yeah, I loved AnoHana. The show was ok, but that ending... I was crying like a little baby. Just perfect.

Next... hmm, I don't know yet. I'm thinking Steins;Gate but I'll probably won't watch it lol Any suggestions??
