Oh, Blood+. This anime will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was the first anime that I went and found on my own, without referral from friends, and endeavored to finish... And it was 100% worth it.
A lot of people I know who don't like it are the ones who have seen an episode or two on adult swim, and simply can't find any words other than WHAT THE FUCK. Honestly, if I'd been introduced to this anime in a similar way, I'd do the same thing. I hated bleach for a long time because every time I saw an episode
...
it was them running around and looking for each other in soul society and I didn't know wtf was happening. Point being; THERE'S PLOT HERE, PEOPLE. You gotta watch it from the beginning, and will only be able to thoroughly enjoy it if you watch it to the end.
The two highlights for me are that they a) don't focus on the romantic aspects, but touch on them just enough to leave you crying at the end, and b) the people who made this had no fear when it comes to killing off characters.
As far as darker, plot-heavy anime go, I'd dare to put this above Code Geass. The art is excellent, proportionate and very smoothly animated, and there isn't any of that over-dramatic flashy crap whenever there's a plot twist that seems to scream "PLOT TWIST! DID YOU SEE IT?!?".
Overall, I gave it a nine, because its maturity and well-rounded plot create a thrilling experience for the viewer as they try to guess what's going to happen next. I wouldn't give it a ten, because there are parts that seem a bit unnecessary or long, but in some ways they just make pushing through them to see the outcome that much more rewarding.

Anyone and everyone looking for a good watch should check out Kuragehime. I got referred to it by a friend, and from episode one was thankful for it.
The story is adorable, and told in a fairly unique manner. Even though there are several parts that the viewer can see coming a mile away, or predict the outcome of, I personally still want to see it unfold in the anime. Knowing what will happen in here is no excuse to keep me from dying to see the next episode, and if that happens, you should know that the anime is a success.
The art is also very

unique, which I love. It reminds me of a combination between some older shoujo, and some more obscure stuff I've seen, but nonetheless is high quality and comparable with other great "art series".
Overall, I give this a ten, because I could watch it over and over again, and refer it to anyone I know. On top of that, I can't think of a single flaw, or thing I'd change to make it better. For me, this series meets perfection!

Normally I don't review series, even if I really love them, but one very negative review on this series that I bumped into prompted me to want to give it as much credit as possible.
I am a 18 year old girl. I love anime, but I'm not anti-social or any other stereotype that really fits otaku. I have plenty of friends who think anime in general is weird. And I, possibly the most 'normal' out of all my otaku friends, LOVED this anime.
The art is amazing. especially when contrasted with the characters. I adored how they made the lead male a bishi without having
...
his character be a total soft-hearted pussy, like they do in almost every harem anime I've ever seen!
That being said, normally I don't even go for harem anime, but this one was very... sincere? I think that's a good way to put it. It really made the best of each arch, so that I felt good and satisfied when the happy ending was reached for each pairing. Even the twincest arch, which I'd never have pinned myself as being a particular fan of.
On top of all this, the voice acting is very high quality. A lot of the time, what I find in more obscure anime, especially ones like this, is that they supplement their budget by having crappy voice actors. Not Yosuga no Sora. The voice acting was actually very noticeably better than even some mainstream stuff out there.
Overall, I'd say the rating should depend on what you're looking for. When I try to rate anime, I do it based on how someone looking for that genre would rate it. Like, I wouldn't grade Code Geass by the same criteria I would grade Princess Princess. So, that being taken into account, this is an awesome series for those who can go into it with an open mind, and look at the good qualities. The soft-core porn is just a bonus XP
