Just to give some context, I only just recently came back at around chapter 50 to finish up the rest of the story.
This isn't meant to be a serious review, but more just me venting the gripes I had with certain subplots found in this manga.
In general, I thought that the author tackled the whole age gap thing quite well, but that's not what I'm here for.
I was absolutely thrown into disbelief when I read how the author slaughtered a certain side character's confession.
Rejection.

It's weird coming back to this series years after watching the cringe riddled anime series, only to be pleasantly surprised about the slice of life direction the manga has taken in the latter half of it.
I think it's a testament to how much character development was given to Tomoko, and how it completely contradicts the title of the series, as Tomoko manages to make a harem of female friends and thus a whole bunch of fluff and yuri undertones. If you liked Watamote purely for the cringe value of it, then you probably won't wanna stick around after around chapter 50. I enjoyed reading it, it has ...

Honestly, this manga was wild ride from start to finish, and even more so during the last couple of chapters. Story(?): The first half of this story is your typical revenge story, and then the other half is you wondering if you're still reading the same manga.
