I see. I find books to be way better than comics as well. But I just dont know where to find LN's or whether they are the same as normal novels. I have found manga to be way better than anime in both time efficiency as well as details. I would imagine LN's to be more detailed than manga as well.
haha yeah imagination is the best xD I get disappointed every time I watch movies adaptations of the book I read, mostly because the characters dont look at all like they are described in the book or my imagination is too vivid ._.
I know that feel man. I have been reading a lot of manga lately and I am behind on anime as well. Btw this season is friggin awesome. A lot of great anime. I am really into Ore Monogatari!!
No worries. I had a feeling you might be traveling to various professional conferences or something. So how are things going with med school?
Ah, I see. I watched the first 3 or 4 episodes of Absolute Duo and then dropped it because there was something ridiculous (can't remember what it was since much time has passed) and I couldn't bring myself to watch the whole season. I might come back to it though as I have done so for a few anime that I have dropped. One example would be Shakugan no Shana. I think I watched 3/4 of the first season and dropped it because the battles with the enemies became lame, stupid, and repetitive. But 5 or 6 years later, I had a gut feeling that I should watch it again, and I was glad I did as I watched all the way up to the beginnings of season 3 (I didn't drop it again. It's just on hold. I plan to finish it). I think I just got older and was better able to understand the show as well as notice and appreciate certain things that I missed 5 or 6 years earlier.
One of my friends keep bugging me to watch Ansatsu Kyoushitsu! haha. Yeah, the story is unlike anything I can recall in recent memory...
I just finished watching Shinmai Maou no Testament. It was unique. If they toned down the ecchi and spent more time making the story and the characters stronger, then it'll be good.
Sounds good. I look forward to hearing your discussion of Tokyo Ghoul.
Ah, Durarara. It seems to be another good show. And speaking of marathon, what do you think... is it usually better to marathon an anime than watching it with breaks between (e.g. a week, a day, etc.)? Or does it depend on the particular anime?
Same here. I have an appreciation for them, but become disappointed, worried, and concerned when there's too many shows with harem/ecchi.
Nice to hear. I look forward to watching those two shows soon.
11 different light novels. That's impressive. So you read at every possible opportunity (e.g. one the train, while eating, during exercise, etc.)? xD
I think I may have heard of Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka ( Danmachi ). Alright. Sounds good. I hope it'll be a good watch. :)
Anyway, I hope you're doing well and (God forbid) getting enough sleep! xD
You're probably still sleepless, so I'll skip that question. Lol. ;P So, how are you liking absolute duo, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, and Shinmai Maou no Testament? :)
And what do you think of Tokyo Ghoul Season 2 and Durarara? xD
Oops, I just realized I made a factual error. I thought Great Teacher Onizuka is 24 episodes, but it's actually around 43! >.< It's been so long since I've watched that anime... :P
Anyway, so they are planning to show Grisaia no Meikyuu and Grisaia no Rakuen? I see. Did you play those two visual novels as well? If so, what did you think of them?
I agree with you that 24 episodes would allow for more character development in Grisaia no Kajitsu; it certainly does in other 24-episode anime that I've watched, such as Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO).
Hahaha. Okay, it looks like there are quite a few series that you're enjoying. Happy reading! :) I hope you won't lose too much sleep! xD
You're a medical student?! Now wonder! Ah, that adds a whole new meaning to the sleepless thing. ;P Anyway, I hope your exams went well! Ganbatte!
I recently finished watching Grisaia no Katjitsu. The first few episodes were kind of strange and the pacing is too fast. Stories felt rushed and not fleshed out enough. Other than that and some other flaws, some elements were good and enjoyable, such as the overall story concept and the particular backstory of each girl. How about you? What do you think?
Hey friend. It's been a while! But I'm sure that by now, you've watched a lot of anime and that you are making good progress towards your anime watching goals. :) Have you been getting enough sleep? ;)
I hope you are well and enjoying the holidays. I just want to take the time to thank you for all your detailed explanations and help this past year. I appreciate it! ^_^ I look forward to talking with you more in the new year. Have a safe and fun holiday and a happy new year!

Whoa. Is it really that good? Better than manga?

That's cool. Congratulations on your progress! :)
Heh. No sleep as usual? I see. xD
