Jisatsutou (Manga) add
No spoilers!

3 reasons you might want to check this manga out:

1. If you're interested in the survival - adventure genre. It's surprisingly realistic and the story is good. The characters (almost everyone) are unexpectedly relatable and likable. You might find yourself cherishing them.

2. They are people, who despite being suicidal before, try their hardest to cling to life. Together, they once again look for the answer to the question of "What is the point in living?"

3. You might learn a thing or two about the world. It contains a lot of great information.

The manga changed the way I've always taken things ...

Chihayafuru 3 (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Chihayafuru overall is a good manga-anime in its own league.

What I love about it is its consistent focus on Karuta, without sacrificing any charms. There are messages hidden in every character. It's truly an inspiring experience. The art is astounding. From season 1 to now, the story has lots of metaphors, all are delivered nicely.

The sound effects could be way better though, there are some parts when my emotional flow was cut short because the music was a bit off.

Sangatsu no Lion has a nice story, art, sound, the characters are interesting. It's a show I would rewatch over and over again.

Strange how the main character, Kiriyama Rei, is in high school, but my expectation of a gloomy high schooler was turned down. The story intertwines high school and adult life in a very subtle and clever way. I couldn't help but be fond of each characters' stories, not one character is boring out there. Plus, shogi is an interesting strategy sport, as I also play xiangqi (Chinese chess), it definitely excites me.

Constantly, the need to change and people's expectations of us ...

Fune wo Amu (Anime) add
I enjoy Fune wo Amu. It's a show that I can rewatch.
The storyline is a bit off, at times, there aren't many surprises in how the story progresses. I ended up guessing correctly many things. So it ain't for the looking-for-fun mood. It's somewhere, between soothing and intriguing. I started off purely because of curiosity and kept watching because of the characters.
Majime-san is a weird one, Nishioka-san a fun one, and many others. It's satisfying seeing the passion in people's eyes. They are genuine, real, and likable. I don't see so much character development, they sure are persistent, their core values don't change ...
