Someone's mad Goku is getting milked drier than the ogre from Shrek.

Just a figure of speech. People weren't fond of the sudden and unfulfilled ending.

Thank you. And I have found manga that go farther than a kiss since then, a lot actually.

Not really a romance, just a bunch of hilarious ecchi. The anime gets better as it goes on.

No I just read those for fun in english, reading RAW manga for fun isnt an option atm im too slow, its just for learning purposes and to see how well I can translate stuff. Im only translate three things right now, Hyouka, Tonari no kaibutsu kun ( shojo), and Taiyou no Ie.

My manga collection is around 800, with 500 raws so yeah I got quite a bit too read if I wanted too ~~

About two hours each session, once or twice a week. I get tons of work probably about 15 kanji and lots of exercises -__- and vocab. My tutor is awesome though he makes me translate like one chapter of manga then show me the translations and tells me how I did.

No im already fluent in french, I went to a french school and got tutored it for like 6 years. Im just saying the 5 years I learned it in elementary school was complete waste and three weeks of self study couldve done that much.

meh I sticked with the tutor my reading is actually pretty good now I can read most manga without a dictionary ( shojo and shonen) and have a decent idea of whats going on, but I still need a dictionary at times. Whatever its all practise I suppose I took like 5 years of school french and I was still pretty bad I had to study on my own for another two years with a tutor to become decent at it -__-

Hey dude I need your advice. At the university in my city in december there gonna be offering beginner Japanese its really cheap 3 and a half hours a week for like 3 months for only like 250 dollars. The thing is I think they will go really slow. In my experience it took me 5 years of school french to simply get to a decent level where I could understand written stuff, I couldnt even speak it nearly fluently. So I have a feeling it will be the same with this, I have a tutor and we can go pretty fast because I have lots of time and we can do lots of stuff, but I worry that with the course we will go slow ( this is usually how the education system seems to work)

you think its worth it?
muntasir123 Oct 8, 2012 5:49 PM
Haha yeah but manga is a good way to learn and not get bored I put sticky pads on stuff after I translate and go back :D.
