Ousama Ranking is a unique story, and although a little bit convoluted at times, does maintain a fairly interesting plot. There's a lot of moving parts to the story which depending on how complicated you like things, could be pretty hit or miss. A lot of the major plot elements tie into past events that you learn about as the series progresses. I found this fairly curious and did enjoy it. Space☆Dandy (Anime) add
Space Dandy is a strange anime, having stories be entirely contained within episodes. With some events playing a role in future episodes while others seeming happen in an entire separate universe. It's this creativity that makes Space Dandy stand out for me. They really didn't limit themselves on what could be done in an episode for the sake of keeping reality consistent. This kind of chaos hardly exists in storytelling and it may be a turn off to some. Personally I very much enjoy that element.

This has some high levels of uncanny valley to it. The art style really makes the characters feel out of place in the world. It's quite uncomfortable but I think that's what makes it so fitting. The art overall has got a creepy but pretty feel to it; as it paints the uncanny atmosphere perfectly.

The world is visually interesting. While you never get to learn too much about it story wise, visually, it's very stimulating.
