Concrete Revolutio and Kekkai Sensen (taking place in alternate, more colorful versions of Japan and New York respectively) both have premises involving a gang of individuals whose primary objective is to main the fragile peace between humans and otherworldly beings with supernatural abilities. Expect lots of funky colors and explosions.
Both are stories involving schoolgirls who become wrapped up in the day-to-day lives of a deities that require small monetary offerings and go on adventures dealing with wayward souls still attached to the worldly plain.
Both titles star a young men who have their lives changed overnight when they are attacked by bizarre beings (Parasytes and Ghouls respectively), yet survive the ordeal and end up having said creatures physically bonded to them as a result. As a result, both main characters feel the need to use their newly gained power to fight of the dangerous threats posed by more of the dangerous beings inhabiting them while trying to maintain some semblance of their ordinary lives
Both involve a shy, quiet girl who accidentally gets involved with individuals tied to terrorism. Zankyo no Terror is a lot more stone faced serious however.
Both involve a main hero who inadvertently becomes a part of a coalition of goofy, yet amoral characters with extraordinary powers. Akame ga Kill! is much more heavy on the violence however.
