Oribe Mutsumi and her classmates were stranded on a seemingly deserted island. Mutsumi found the other survivors, and used her wilderness knowledge to help them.
She expects that they will be rescued in about three days, which doesn't seem so long to endure. However, she didn't account for the fact that the island is populated with gigantic killer insects. Her knowledge of butterflies, wasps, and more may be the only thing that will help any of her classmates survive to be rescued!

Kyoukai No Kanata, Action Packed with sprinkles of comedy in it.
You won't feel anything for the characters for quite a while but you'll find it endearing once you connect with them. However,there is one part that I find that doesn't match with the whole anime. (Dancing?) I enjoyed the music and animation, which works well with the action scenes. Pace wise, I find it slow and the anime would benefit by increasing the pace/cutting a few scenes. Overall, a good anime to fill your weekend. Make sure to watch the movie Mirai-hen to connect the cliff-hanger and end the anime with a satisfying tone. |
