When I first watched the first episode of "Puellae Magi Madoka Magica" two years ago, I was like "meh". However, when I recently decided to watch the show on Netflix, I totally changed my opinions about this anime. I got so hooked on it that I finished the show on THREE days. Here, you'll understand why I liked it so much:

Story-8
It's difficult resume Madoka's plot, especially without spoiling it. What I can say is that the story was very well-told in only 12 episodes and is full of interesting concepts. When you finish an episode, you'll certainly want to watch the next one.

Art-8
The art ...

Vitamin (Manga) add
Pay attention on what I'm saying: "Vitamin" is an extremely good manga. Yes, it's definetively a story about bullying, but it touches many other significative issues to the youth.
Which makes the manga so outstanding, despite it's good portion of melodrama, is the realism of the situations. In many other shoujo series Kouta's abusive attitude towards his girlfriend Sawako would be fetichized, but what the author shows us is what the character actually is: an unrespectful jerk. And "thanks" his reckless behavior Sawako becomes a bullying victim and slut-shamed as hell( and slut-shaming is a problem in Japan, just see what happened to the AKB0048 ...

Being a huge Sekai ichi Hatsukoi fan (it's kind of my guilty pleasure), I was very excited when a movie was announced. I remember visiting online anime websites every week just to see if the movie had came out. I finally watched the feature film in December and, well, it wasn't disapointing, but I expected much more.
The story itself is VERY previsible. You don't even have to watch the trailer of the anime to know the ending. Also, I felt the plot lacked enough conflict to actually be called a movie. It was like watching a longer episode of a slice of life ...

Boku no Pico (Anime) add
When I decided to watch the infamous "Boku no Pico", I already knew that it was horrible. I wanted to see how bad the anime could got because I like the trash genre. I should have heard the advice to not watch this anime.

You can see what is coming if you just watch the opening: There's a cute and romantic song put just to troll the viewer and an oversexualized underaged girl, I mean, boy, our eponymous protagonist Pico. What comes after is a bunch of sex scenes between a kid and his adult lover, Mokkun The Pedophile. Seriously, someone should ...

Preliminary (3/12 chp)
I've never watched the popular "Sword Art Online" anime, but I know that while some people consider it a masterpiece other say it's overrated. Without having an opinion about the show, I decided to read the manga. Boy, I want my money back.

First, the art is bad to the point of being ugly. It looked like a storyboard, with the difference that storyboards are generally more well-drawn. Second, the story wasn't entertaining: boy goes to a MMORPG setting, fight monsters and meets the best ( and supposely most beautiful) female player. There wasn't anything original in the plot, nor there was something ...

Preliminary (4/52 eps)
I have friends that really like Hetalia, so I honestly though that I would like it too. However, after watching some episodes, it seems that I and my friends have watched completely different shows.

Contrary to my beliefs, "Hetalia: Axis Powers" is not a satyrical and intelligent comedy about geopolitics,. it's more of a random series of gags with lots of fanservice to please fujoshis. Some gags were funny, but others were excessively nonsensical. And I also didn't understand all those "Chibitalia" segments: I'm sorry if you think they are cute, but for me they were just boring and useless to the ...

Toradora! (Anime) add
When you ask someone "What is the anime that has made you like anime?", many will answer "Naruto" or "Bleach", but I would answer "Toradora".

Why? It's simple: before "Toradora" I used to think that all anime were battle shonens with big-breasted girls, however, "Toradora", with it's down-to-earth and beautiful story showed me that the anime industry has much more to offer.

The animation , even though everybbody criticizes J.C. Staff, was amazing, the songs fitted the show perfectly ( even if I have found " My Silky Love" a bit annoying) and the story, despite being ...
