Ah yes. The Holy Grail of anime. The one that inspired so many young creators to pursue their careers as mangaka. Eiichiro Oda takes so much inspiration from this smash hit, not to mention Naoki Urasawa said in a recent interview that he was heavily inspired by Abunai Sisters.

Now what makes this anime so good? Let me explain that to you:

Story: 10

The story is one of the most unique crafts of beauty I've ever seen in my entire life. Creator of Gintama, Hideaki Sorachi, has commented on the sweet mixture of comedy and drama and how it was inspired him to ... create Gintama.

"When I watched the first episode I was blown away. The characters were well written and established. Especially the main villain, which was my big inspiration for Takasugi. Someone who you cannot argue with, especially when it comes to their motivations."

Your Lie In April was one of the greatest animes I've ever watched in the entirety of my life. The show has an outstanding story, lovable characters and beautiful music. I play the piano too, and after watching Your Lie In April, I have this new perspective on playing the piano.(I'm not gonna say what that new perspective is because of spoilers.) And it honestly motivates me to play more often. Anyways, Your Lie In April is a must watch anime if you're into the romance or music genera, or maybe if you aren't into those at all, you will probably like it. You never ... know until you try.
When I watched the first episode, I was blown away by the animation. A-1 did an amazing job adapting this masterpiece. And I also fell in love with the art work. Absolutely beautiful artwork. It stands out. What also makes this anime stand out is the music. Like I said before, I love to play the piano, and hearing Bach, Chopin, and other various artist in the anime got me hooked even more. So, if you play the piano and you're familiar with works from these various artists, then I'd highly recommend this anime. The characters are absolutely adorable and amazing. I loved the way the anime developed Kousei's character. Same for the majority of the other characters. After watching the first episode, you start to fall in love with these characters, and you can also relate to them in a lot of ways. As I do. And the story. I honestly think the story is a well written, impeccable masterpiece. Sometimes, it leaves you thinking, crying in your pillow, or it leaves you smiling like an idiot. I also enjoyed the openings and the endings a whole lot. The openings and endings are very powerful, and they use the power of imagery to describe most of the characters emotions, struggles, positives, negatives, and hardships. Anyone reading this review should go and watch this anime right now, like, literally stop what you're doing and watch this anime right now. I enjoyed it a lot and I'll always remember it as a masterpiece, and a story with a lesson I will always remember. That's why I give it a 10/10
