My journey with anime began in 1997. The first anime series I remember seeing are Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball. I kept watching anime during my entire childhood, but kind of drifted away when I was a teenager. I resumed in 2011 and have maintained my interest since then, mainly because there's a TV channel in my country dedicated to asian culture. I didn't watched subbed anime until 2014 and I started reading manga in 2019.
I don't assign a score until I've finished a series. Generally, the most important elements for me are the story and the characters; everything else comes second. Although in recent years I've developed interest in the process of animation and have learned about the individuals working in the industry. I also like learning about japanese culture through anime series.
I like latin dubs, because the interpretations tend to be balanced in a middle point between japanese (over the top) and english (dry). I firmly believe that one of the few good english openings belongs to Pokemon, the rest are lame (specially compared to italian versions). Also, I've had the privilege to met singers like Takayoshi Tanimoto, Ayumi Miyazaki and seiyuu Ai Maeda.
Favorite genre: Magical Girl and Monsters
