Nah, man. See, that's the point.
Anyone who went through the VN knows the issue with this adaptation isn't hair colors, lack of action, adaptation length, any of those things you claim to be "VN readers' complains". It's pacing. The pacing is all fucked up and does a disservice for people new to the franchise trying to understand what is going on, while being unsatisfying for VN readers because everything is either speedrun or emotionless and feels like a table read session.
I mean, it's fine that you enjoyed it. Nothing against it, but don't just make stuff up.

Yeah, I hope they do season 2 right. Episodes 5 and especially 9 were seriously good in season 1 so if they have that kind of quality for season 2's most important moments I'd say it'll be pretty good. The people working on the show clearly care about the source and are trying to do their best within their budgetary limitations

but yeah i think people are being too harsh and it's a decent show, i just hope they do season 2 well now

My take on the MLA anime is that it's an above-average VN adaptation because they didn't try to cram everything into 12 eps & it has good TSF CGI and music. Overall I had fun and it has some cool moments. I'm a massive fan of the original VNs, though, so I filled in the gaps which someone who didn't read the original wouldn't be able to do. Also the Blu-ray needs to improve the 2D animation in some episodes. Not having Extra or Unlimited hurts, too.

Definitely wouldn't recommend this to a newcomer over the original VNs (or the manga if they hate visual novels). I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't call it an 8

Like helll you played the VNs, more like you watched some Youtuber's synopsis and then tried to act like you are knowledgeable on the subject. Nobody in their right mind would think you can fit 100+ hours on content into 6 and call it good.
