The story is not too complex (no James Joyce type of stuff), for more experienced viewers it might be a bit predictable, but still it is far from being boring. The characters are adorable and really easy to fall in love with! The only thing I disliked, was the cowardliness of one of the main characters in the beginning, but as the series draw to the end, he obtained an sufficient amount of honor in my eyes! The art is satisfactory! A great thing about this anime is also the song the girls sing, when they fight the bad guys. "Am I ... a flower, a butterfly, or a demon?"It gives away a special kind of elegance and beauty. I can't imagine Otome Youkai Zakuro without this song.
A French novelist once said: "There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved." I would also add serving your community but I agree, he was quite right! This anime is like an atom bomb of love, that releases huge amounts of happiness. It will blast your grey sunless days away and it will feed your love starved souls! At least it did for a me... I approve this anime!
