Both are shonen, but if you've seen DB in your childhood and you're looking for something similiar to it Naruto should do. The difference is that of course Naruto has better animation (well, it was aired almost 20 years after DB). Both have many fights and both are funny.

A lot of humour, great battles, many many techniques, characters, etc. All these are features from both anime. The protagonist—a smiling guy, dressed in orange/red and blue. Naruto is blond. Goku can be blond. Both are great anime with great battles and many funny moments.
