Both involve a survival game that is fairly digital and involves real life money. Darwins Game and Duan Nao also can mess with the memories of people so they cannot remember the people or the game.

Evil or live itself isnt structured as a survival game literally like D-game...but i canpromise it has survival, game, strategy, and a friendship formed for survival. Evil or Live doesn't have the sort of romannce vibe.

both involve a journey, life lessons, and new plot each episode kino=more philosophical golden= more comedy

If you liked Seirei no Moribito add

...then you might like Arslan Senki (TV) add

I believe these shows to be very similar. In Arslan, the young prince holds a bit more control than in Seirei, however they are both very kind, smart, and understanding children you find yourself rooting for the entire time. Seirei is a bit more serious with less of a comedic tone, but has a lot of action. If you liked one you should like the other!
