DomeKano relies on its frustrating characters and trash take on life itself. If you don't/didn't specifically enjoy getting teased like that, I highly doubt the next episodes could offer something more to you.

It is not as rare to see him in people´s faves these days, but yeah he is still a pretty missunderstood character overall thanks to the anime adaptations. And yes, I have also read the novel.
