I'm very happy to have completed this manga, I won't deny that at first it was difficult to read, especially because it was my first interaction with anything related to Dragon Quest. So there were dull moments and the reading was a little slow. However, the final stretch of this manga caught me completely off guard and became one of the best final lines I've ever consumed in my entire life.

See the effort of Dai and his companions, the development of several characters such as Pop, Marm, CROCODINEEEEE (my favorite) Hyunkell, Leona, Avan... as well as EXCELLENT villains (the rivalry between Hadlar and Dai is ... one of the best there is).

I got goosebumps reading the end of the manga, and his entire message. There was no way to have a more perfect ending for the manga than what the author wrote (and look, in the middle of the fight between Dai and Vearn I kept thinking about several ways that the manga could end),

In short, it was quite a journey, very fun, with great characters and fights! Besides, I was able to realize the influence that this manga (or franchise in general) had on the generation of mangakas that came after Dai and DQ, and that to this day are inspired by many DQ concepts.

My score is 8 because as I said, the beginning and a half was a little difficult to follow and I was finding it a little boring in some parts, but if I could give a score only based on the final arc, it would be 10!

Estou muito feliz de ter completado esse manga, não vou negar que no início foi dificil de ler, principalmente por ter sido minha primeira interação com qualquer coisa relacionada a Dragon Quest. Portanto teve momentos maçantes e a leitura foi um pouco lenta. Porém, a reta final desse mangá me pegou completamente desprevenido e se tornou uma das melhores retas finais que eu já consumi na minha vida inteira.

ver o esforço de Dai e seus companheiros, o desenvolvimento de diversos personagens como Pop, Marm, CROCODINEEEEE (meu favorito) Hyunkell, Leona, Avan... além de vilões EXCELENTES (a rivalidade entre Hadlar e Dai é uma das melhores que tem).

Fiquei arrepiado lendo o final do mangá, e toda a mensagem dele. Não tinha como ter um final mais perfeito para o mangá do que o que o autor escreveu (e olha que no meio da luta entre Dai e Vearn eu fiquei pensando em várias formas que o mangá poderia terminar),

Em suma, foi uma jornada e tanto, muito divertida, com ótimos personagens e lutas! Fora que consegui perceber a influência que esse mangá (ou franquia no geral) teve na geração de mangakás que vieram após Dai e DQ, e que até hoje se inspiram em muitos conceitos de DQ.

Minha nota é 8 pois como disse, o início e meio foi um pouco difícil de acompanhar e estava achando um pouco maçante em algumas partes, porém se eu pudesse dar uma nota somente baseada no arco final, seria 10!

I think the manga never even lost its essence, from beginning to end, and seeing Kafka recalling all the moments he spent during his adventure in these almost 130 chapters (I hope there is at least one extra chapter of epilogue in the release of the final volume so that it is exact 130 chapters) was very exciting. The ... manga managed in a few chapters to captivate me with ALL the characters, without exception, in addition to creating great moments for all of them.

Action is the strong point, and seeing a 30+ character starring in all this "mess" was a lot of fun (we need more protagonists like this). The fighting choreographies and Kaijus' designs were also great!!!

In short, I will miss this manga a lot. He got it right on the most important aspect of any good story: it was incredibly fun to follow the journey of Kafka and his companions. Thank you for everything Naoya Matsumoto sensei.

Agora que o mangá acabou posso dizer com 100% de certeza que esse mangá foi muito bom! Mesmo que o fim tenha sido rushado, eu acho que o autor conseguiu fechar a trama principal e todas as suas ramificações, trazendo esperança para o futuro dos personagens. Acho que o mangá nunca sequer perdeu sua essência, do início ao fim, e ver o Kafka relembrando todos os momentos que ele passou durante sua aventura nesses quase 130 capítulos (espero que tenha no mínimo um capítulo extra de epílogo no lançamento do volume final para que fique redondinho) foi muito emocionante. O mangá conseguiu em poucos capítulos me cativar com TODOS os personagens, sem excessão, além de criar ótimos momentos para todos eles.

A ação é o ponto forte, e ver um personagem 30+ protagonizando toda essa "bagunça" foi muito divertido (precisamos de mais protagonistas assim). As coreografias de lutas e os designs de Kaijus também foram ótimos!!!

Em resumo, vou sentir muita falta desse mangá. Ele acertou em cheio no aspecto mais importante de qualquer boa história: foi incrivelmente divertido de acompanhar a jornada de Kafka e seus companheiros. Obrigado por tudo Naoya Matsumoto sensei.

Star of Beethoven was the most original manga that this magazine had since Psych House (two precious stones of this magazine), and which unfortunately did not see the light of a 4º volume... this manga has a brilliant and very curious premise, as well as an incredible comic that disputes a lot with the author of "MamaYuyu" - Yoshihiko Hayashi (ironically both have Hayashi in the name).

I will miss this manga a lot, because as a lover and professional in the area of music this manga made me feel "at home". Beethoven is an incredible and very charismatic 2º protagonist, which further enriched the plot, ... but Yaso was not such a flashy protagonist (which I think was one of the reasons for the cancellation).

I will really miss this manga in the magazine, which showed with this last chapter the great potential it had. I will be anxiously waiting for the author's return to the magazine

Star of Beethoven foi o mangá mais original que essa revista teve desde Psych House (duas pedras preciosas dessa revista), e que infelizmente não chegou a ver a luz de um 4º volume… esse mangá tem uma premissa genial e muito curiosa, além de uma quadrinização incrível que disputa muito com o autor de “MamaYuyu” - Yoshihiko Hayashi (ironicamente ambos tem Hayashi no nome).

Sentirei muita falta desse mangá, pois como um amante e profissional na área de música esse manga fazia eu me sentir “em casa”. O beethoven é um 2º protagonista incrível e muito carismático, o que enriquecia ainda mais a trama, porém o Yaso não foi um protagonista tão chamativo (que acho que foi um dos motivos do cancelamento).

Sentirei muita falta desse mangá na revista, que mostrou com esse ultimo capítulo o grande potencial que tinha. Estarei ansiosamente esperando pelo retorno do autor à revista

Another anime of those that appears when you have nothing to watch, and maybe it would be better to have nothing to watch... But I gave it a chance, because just like in any season, I need to watch at least 1 isekai anime or something like that (in this case it's RPG elements). Honestly, as I expected, it was an anime more or less, with very cool action moments (which surprised me in the first episodes, I didn't expect this kind of quality in an anime like this lol), but it always ends up falling into the same thing as always in animes of ... this genre. Even though it was extremely predictable from the moment I hit my eye, I had fun, and I think that's the most important thing in a story! I've always liked exploration and level system in games and RPG's, so seeing this in an anime cheers me up too. A story doesn't always have to be amazing to entertain you and this type of anime is the greatest proof of that. I'm not saying you can turn off your brain and watch it (because I think it's disrespectful at a certain point, we limit art a lot when thinking that way), but it's good to watch when you have nothing to do and just want to relax and have a little fun, the "normal" animes of the seasons (this one included) always deliver great moments of fun.

Mais um anime daqueles que aparece no momento em que você não tem nada pra assistir, e talvez fosse melhor ficar sem nada para assistir... Mas dei uma chance, pois assim como em qualquer temporada, eu preciso assistir pelo menos 1 anime de isekai ou algo do gênero (nesse caso são elementos RPG). Sinceramente como eu esperava era um anime mais ou menos, com momentos de ação bem legais (que me surpreenderam nos primeiros episódios, não esperava esse tipo de qualidade em um anime desse kkkkk), porém que sempre acaba caindo na mesma coisa de sempre em animes desse gênero. Mesmo sendo extremamente previsível a partir do momento em que bati o olho, eu me diverti, e acho que isso é o mais importante em uma história! Sempre gostei de exploração e sistema de níveis em jogos e RPG's, então ver isso em um anime me anima também. Nem sempre uma história precisa ser mirabolante para te entreter e esse tipo de anime é a maior prova disso. Não digo que você pode desligar o cérebro e assistir (até porque acho isso um desrespeito em certo ponto, limitamos muito a arte ao pensar dessa forma), mas é bom para assistir quando você não tem nada para fazer e só quer relaxar e se divertir um pouco, os animes "normais" das temporadas (esse incluso) sempre entregam ótimos momentos de diversão.

I was really afraid of the direction this story could take, because whether we like it or not, the ending is the most correct one for Tobio. He can't live a peaceful and happy life without paying for the crimes he committed, and my fear arose precisely during the Timeskip when I thought the author would simply ignore all of this. But he was very emphatic in showing us that NO, Tobio will suffer for the rest of his life, just as the detective told him at the beginning of the story.

The final chapter was to close with a golden key. Understanding ... that normalcy will never be conceived for Tobio, yet he will cling to this false happiness he possesses to try to endure an ordinary life. But to what extent? He himself says that the moment he can't bear it anymore, he will simply die.

What makes the ending even more intriguing is thinking that his son will be named Tarou, and this will be another way for the crimes he committed to haunt him for the rest of his life.

It was nice to see that the only character who managed to "move on" definitively was Paisen, who served his 10 years in detention. Maru became obsessed with money again, to the point of getting involved in a scheme selling clearly fake products.

Isami out of the three seems to be the only one who managed to have a kind of fresh start, knowing that he forgot about his problems through pleasure... but we couldn't know how his life was in the last 10 years, besides having another child.

I really liked this story because it involves people who committed a crime and spent the whole story dealing with it internally (and apparently will deal with it for the rest of their lives).

It's a very heavy work, which made me uncomfortable at times, but it's very good and quick to read.

P.S: I just found out that it's from the same author as Jagaaaaaan and Blue Lock.

Que história fantástica!

Eu realmente estava com medo do caminho que essa história poderia seguir, pois querendo ou não, o final é o mais correto possível para Tobio. Ele não pode viver uma vida tranquila e feliz sem ter pago pelos crimes que cometeu, e meu medo surgiu justamente no Timeskip quando achei que o autor ia simplesmente ignorar tudo isso. Mas ele foi muito enfático em nos mostrar que NÃO, o Tobio vai sofrer para o resto da vida dele, assim como o detetive disse a ele no início da história.

O capítulo final foi para fechar com chave de ouro. Entender que a normalidade nunca vai ser concebida para Tobio, porém ele vai se apegar a essa falsa felicidade que ele possuí para tentar aguentar uma vida ordinária. Mas até que ponto? Ele mesmo diz que no momento que não aguentar mais ele simplesmente vai morrer.

O que deixa tudo mais intrigante no final é pensar que o filho dele vai se chamar Tarou, e isso vai ser mais uma forma de os crimes que ele cometeu atormenta-lo pelo resto de sua vida.

Foi legal ver que o o único personagem que conseguiu "seguir em frente" de forma definitiva foi o Paisen, que cumpriu seus 10 anos de detenção. Maru voltou a ficar aficionado por dinheiro, a ponto de entrar em um esquema de venda de produtos claramente falsos.

Isami dos 3 parece que foi o único que conseguiu até ter um certo tipo de recomeço, sabe-se que ele esquecia de seus problemas através do prazer... mas não conseguimos saber como foi sua vida nos últimos 10 anos, além de ter tido mais um filho.

Eu gostei demais dessa história, pois involve pessoas que cometeram um crime e passaram a história toda lidando com ele internamente (e aparentemente vão lidar para o resto da vida).

É uma obra bem pesada, que me deixou desconfortável em certos momentos, mas é muito boa e rápido de ler

About the story: I enjoyed this Manhwa, the author managed to maintain suspense and mysteries until the end, to the point that nothing prepares you for the plot twist in the first few chapters. Therefore, I recommend that you don't read the synopsis if you're interested in reading this Manhwa, just go straight to reading it.

Now, spoiler moment!

The characters are very interesting, both Kyun, Jin, Manny... The father is a good character to the point of being detestable throughout the story, and that's a positive point. Many authors ... who work with this type of story end up "romanticizing" the killer, even indirectly. But I didn't feel that in this Manhwa, not until the end at least...

The fight between Jin and his father and how all the other characters become connected to the plot is very interesting, and how clever Jin's father is, in a way that irritates any reader because all you want is for the truth to be revealed lol

Now, the ending was a bit confusing for me, I can't say if I ended up interpreting it wrong, but I found the idea that Jin's father always cared about him a bit forced... but is that really it? Because at one point, before Jin's father kills Manny, Manny says he's going to do the same thing to Jin and turn him over to the police as an accomplice, and then comes the question, did the father say he messed up because he got too angry about that? Because Manny found out their secret, or as a way to protect his son? I got confused at this part but interpreted it as if he was somehow "protecting" Jin... but it seemed too forced to happen right at the end, so I didn't like it...

Besides all the idea that Jin as a child enjoyed helping his father commit crimes, when in fact he was clearly manipulated since he was a child, especially being a child, Jin when he was little said he found it fun and that he was just playing with his father... but to me, it seems like a mistreated and manipulated child by his father to act like him, after all, when we are little we follow our parents' footsteps. So this little gap that the story gave to say that he "liked" to help his father in crimes seemed a bit out of context to me, but again I may have interpreted it wrong. If anyone has a different opinion and wants to present it, I would like to know.

However, aside from these two moments, the end of the work was very good, seeing Jin rising from the pit, admitting his mistakes, and going in the opposite direction of his father, to the point of forgiving him, was very interesting. This shows how Jin evolved and how he is not a killer nor does he want to follow his father's footsteps (something that Jin's father himself and the astral form of his mother discuss on the rooftop before Jin's father jumps off the building). Seeing him serving his sentence and meanwhile knowing that outside he has a good and happy life finally waiting for him was a cool ending that leaves a lot for readers to think about.

Jin managed to defeat the demon and end it.

Esse foi o primeiro contato que eu tive com um Manhwa. A forma de ler é muito boa e simples!

Sobre a história: Eu gostei desse manhwa, o autor conseguiu manter o suspense e os mistérios até o fim, ao ponto de que nada te prepara para o plot twist dos primeiros capítulos. Por isso, recomendo que você não leia a sinopse caso esteja interessado em ler esse manhwa, apenas vá direto para a leitura.

Agora o momento com spoilers!

Os personagens são muito interessantes, tanto a kyun, como o jin, o manny... O pai é um bom personagem a ponto de ser detestável durante toda a história, e isso é um ponto positivo. Muitos autores que trabalham com esse tipo de história acabam por "romantizar" o assassino, mesmo que de forma indireta. Mas não senti isso nesse manhwa, não até o final pelo menos...

A luta entre Jin e seu pai e como todos os outros personagens vão se conectando a trama é muito interessante, e o quão esperto o pai de Jin é, de uma forma que irrita qualquer leitor, pois tudo que você quer é que a verdade seja esclarecida lol

Agora, o final foi um pouco confuso para mim, não sei dizer se acabei interpretando de forma errada, mas eu achei meio forçado a ideia de que o pai do Jin sempre se importava com ele... mas será que é isso mesmo? Pois em certo momento, antes do pai de Jin matar o Manny, Manny diz que vai fazer a mesma coisa com o Jin e entrega-lo para policia como cúmplice, e aí vem a questão, o pai diz que fez besteira por ter ficado muito irritado com isso, mas com o que exatamente? Com o fato de que Manny descobriu o segredo dos dois, ou por uma forma de proteção ao seu filho? Eu fiquei confuso nessa parte mas interpretei como se ele estivesse de certo modo "protegendo" o Jin... mas isso pareceu muito forçado para acontecer logo no final, então eu não gostei...

Além de toda a ideia de que o Jin como uma criança ter gostado de ajudar o pai a cometer os crimes, quando na verdade ele foi claramente manipulado desde pequeno, ainda mais se tratando de uma criança, Jin quando era pequeno dizia achar divertido e que estava apenas brincando com seu pai... mas para mim, enxergo como uma criança maltratada e manipulada pelo pai a agir da forma dele, afina, quando somos pequenos nós seguimos os passos dos nossos pais. Então essa pequena brecha que a história deu para dizer que ele "gostava" de ajudar o pai nos crimes me pareceu um pouco fora do contexto, mas novamente posso ter interpretado errado. Caso alguém tenha uma opinião diferente e quiser me apresentar, adoraria saber.

Porém tirando esses dois momentos o final da obra foi muito bom, ver o Jin se levantando do poço, admitindo seus erros e indo na direção contrária do seu pai, a ponto de perdoa-lo, foi bem interessante. Isso mostra como o Jin evoluiu e como ele não é um assassino muito menos deseja seguir os passos do pai (algo que o próprio pai e a forma astral de sua mãe conversam no telhado antes do pai do Jin pular do prédio). Ver ele cumprindo com a pena dele e enquanto isso saber que la fora ele tem uma vida boa e feliz finalmente o aguardando foi um final legal que deixa aberto muita coisa para os leitores pensarem.

Jin conseguiu vencer o demonio e acabar com ele.

Another manga finished by Oshimi Shuuzō!!

He is definitely one of my favorite authors, always with different works and all great. I love how he can turn reading into something very enjoyable with the 3-panel layout per page... You float through an extremely captivating, mysterious, and interesting story, and the layout makes this even easier.

It's no wonder that I finish most of his works on the same day I start reading them. And this one, even though I didn't finish it in a day, I read very quickly...

I always feel sad when I finish a manga by this author because I know I'm getting closer and ... closer to finishing reading all of his works.

Happiness is probably his most well-known work (but not my favorite), and I can understand why. The mysterious setting of vampires and the main character's quest to adapt to his new life and find happiness in it really grabs the reader's attention.

However, I would say that this is one of his first works where, for me, the main character loses total focus to the second main character haha. Gosho is simply fantastic, and she serves to connect all the past and present events within the story in a magnificent way.

I won't deny that I was extremely nervous about the plot twist that happened in the middle of the story (those who read it will know what I'm talking about)... This kind of plot twist is very common in Oshimi-sensei's works and is always elaborated fantastically.

Happiness, unlike the author's other mangas, doesn't cling too much to puberty issues and goes for a more mysterious and eerie side (just like Chi no Wadachi), but I thought he managed to work this story very consistently. It's much more "simple" and straightforward but very well done.

The ending is also very good... another one for the author's recipe book of endings...

Mais um manga finalizado de Oshimi Shuuzō!!

Ele definitivamente é um dos meus autores favoritos, sempre com obras diferentes e todas ótimas. Eu adoro a forma como ele consegue transformar a leitura em algo muito gostoso de aproveitar com a quadrinização de 3 quadros por página... Você flutua por uma história extremamente cativante, misteriosa e interessante, e a quadrinização facilita esse trabalho ainda mais.

Não é atoa que a maioria de suas obras eu termino no mesmo dia que começo a ler. E essa, mesmo não tendo terminado em um dia, eu li muito rápido...

Fico triste sempre que acabo um manga desse autor pois sei que estou cada vez mais próximo de terminar de ler todas as obras dele.

Happiness é provavelmente seu trabalho mais conhecido (mas não o meu preferido), e consigo entender o motivo. A ambientação misteriosa de vampiros e a busca do personagem principal a se acostumar com sua nova vida e encontrar felicidade nela chama muito a atenção do leitor

Porém digo que essa é uma das primeiras obras dele onde para mim o personagem principal perde o foco total para o segundo personagem principal hehe. A Gosho é simplesmente fantástica e ela serve para interligar todos os acontecimentos do passado e presente dentro da história de forma magnífica.

Não vou negar que fiquei extremamente nervoso com o plot twist que teve no meio da história (quem leu vai saber do que estou falando)... Esse tipo de plot twist é muito comum nas obras do Oshimi-sensei e é sempre elaborado de forma fantástica.

Happiness, diferente dos outros mangas do autor, não se agarra muito as questões de puberdade, e vai para um lado mais misterioso e tenebroso (Assim como Chi no Wadachi), mas achei que ele conseguiu trabalhar essa história de forma muito consistente. Ela é bem mais "simples" e direta mas é muito bem feita.

O final é muito bom também... mais um para o livro de receitas dos finais do autor..

I am simply delighted with this anime!

Extremely fun, enjoyable, and great for moments when you just want to relax...

I loved Bocchi's character; honestly, I have a tendency to connect with "shy" and "socially challenged" characters, so seeing Bocchi "almost" overcome her challenges and successfully make new friends made me very happy.

The way Bocchi is funny, shy, and extremely innocent is phenomenal, not to mention the character's voice actor who did an excellent job dubbing her.

There's not much to say about this anime adapted from a 4-koma, a story about a lonely girl struggling to make friends in a new school with the goal of becoming ... friends with all her classmates.

Could anything be better than this?

This anime provided me with numerous laughs and a lot of happiness.

Estou simplesmente encantado com esse anime!

Extremamente divertido, agradável e ótimo para momentos em que você quer apenas relaxar...

Eu amei a personagem da Bocchi, sinceramente, tenho uma tendencia a me conectar com personagens "tímidos" e com "dificuldades sociais" então ver a Bocchi conseguir "quase" vencer, mas conseguir fazer novas amizades me deixou muito feliz

A maneira como a Bocchi é engraçada, tímida e extremamente inocente é fenomenal, fora a Seyuu da personagem que fez um papel excelente dublando-a

Não tem muito o que falar desse anime adaptado de um 4-koma, uma história de uma garota solitária com dificuldades de fazer amizades indo para uma nova escola e com o objetivo de se tornar amiga de todos os colegas de sua classe.

Poderia algo ser melhor que isso?

Esse anime me garantiu diversas risadas e muita felicidade
