Criminal Justice Grad student at MSU. Like anime, video games, fantasy books....I'm a nerd, pretty much. Though I do the outdoorsy stuff too. I'm heavily involved with the Boy Scouts as a summer camp shotgun range instructor.
I've actually seen at least one episode of 406 shows, all of 219, and keep track of them using a rather extensive excel document(tracks pretty much everything MAL does, the way I have it set up). Since I found this site, I've been gradually adding anime to it. One of these days, when i feel like it, I'll sit down and work my way through my list. Till then, I'll appear to have less experience with anime than I really have.
I was an officer in my college anime club for four years. The club's name is the U.C.J.A.S., the University of Chicago Japanese Animation Society.
They run a small, free, academically oriented convention in Chicago called Uchicon (usually Jan or Feb. Google Uchicon UCJAS for details about past cons and contact info). Also perform a skit in the Anime Central (ACEN) masquerade annually. You can look up some of the skits on youtube.

Glad I'm not the only one on this site who sees that. I went on the page, saw all the '8', '9', '10s', and got a little annoyed. XD Unnecessarily, but... lol.

Midori no Hibi, perhaps it was more to the fact that it wasn't so much my thing - at that point I had exhausted, shall we say my limits to watching rom-coms (they used to be my favourite genre), however, as I was watching it I felt complete dissatisfaction, sure one can argue both sides as to whether the hand was either a gimmick used as an excuse for sit-com or a more central thematic plotline that conveys emotion blah blah. That's for the commendation, recommendation is also welcome.
Yours seems to be both rather eclectic and commendable as well (taste)-wise, but I can't really make a personal judgment until you finish porting your excel worksheet over (first time I've heard of something like that o.0)

Oh and Mustafa. Kajika's obsession with the leopard being Eugene is yet another thing that leads me to wonder whether she is not in fact retarded. Sorry for the rant but I felt like sharing the hate.
